“Without Jack my house would never have been built. We needed to tuck this little house into a narrow urban lot in a Historic District and make it look like it was always there. We survived 7! public hearings with heavy revision. Jack remained true to my original vision while accommodating the requirements of many other visions of what my house needed to be. His price was fair, his manner engaging and open. My house won an award and i gained a valued friend. He and and his staff are the best architectural firm ever.”

Schroeder, AIA, you have given us our dream home and by that I mean a home more beautiful than we could have imagined and yet completely suitable to our hectic everyday lives as a family with four young children. You listened to our random ideas and put them together into a design that is better than the sum of its parts and what's more, it was completed on schedule (I didn't think this ever happened!).”

“Be assured that you will be in excellent hands with Stacy at SKM Design. We can not recommend her highly enough! We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way. She was able to recommend 3 builders for the bidding and a slew of tradespeople. She‘s also a joy to work with and an outstanding human being- you will love having her around.”

“We were extremely pleased with Joana's service. Her knowledge, creativity, and most of all patience was hugely helpful as we planned and designed our home addition/remodeling project. Joana was able to provide her help from the conceptualization of our project through to the negotiation with our contractors which was invaluable given our inexperience with this type of project. Her assistance and persistence in liaising with the contractors alone was worth every penny! It was a pleasure to work with Joana, even our 3 year old looked forward to her visits to talk through her ideas, the plans. I would say that Joana's biggest strengths are her professionalism, detail oriented nature, patience, and creativity. I would gladly hire Joana for another project or recommend her to anyone looking for high quality support for an architectural project.”

“"Cheryl Newton Architect LLC was wonderful to work with. Cheryl is very professional, creative, caring, and intuitive. She quickly realized our likes and dislikes and was very open to our ideas, suggestions, and working together with us to design our dream home. We had a very challenging lot on a lake and Cheryl worked together with the town, our civil engineer, and our landscaper to make the most of the space we had. If we ever needed to design another home we would definitely use her services again.”

“I worked with Aurora on a full-scale condo renovation in Manhattan in the fall of 2018 until spring 2019. She was both the architect, as well as the interior designer for the project. Before even getting to know her, I was initially impressed with the renderings she put together as part of the real estate sales listing. This offered me, as buyer, the opportunity to envision the potential for this unit. Without her renderings, quite candidly, I'm not sure I would have been as eager a buyer, which goes to show how impactful her design aesthetic and vision was. While working with her on the project itself, I found Aurora to be: extremely detail-oriented, engaging, responsive, and reliable. Her design aesthetic speaks for itself, but beyond her architectural and design skills, she was a delight to work with from a client perspective. She is adaptive to feedback and seeks tirelessly to craft the right combination of fixtures, finishes, colors, textures, etc., in order to bring all elements together in a coordinated fashion. She is also attentive to budget, and will work with the client on meeting design goals at various price points. I would highly recommend Aurora to anyone seeking her architectural and / or design services. The love and pride I feel for my new home is a direct testament to her vision and her hard-work to accomplish it.”
