“We have had a good experience working with Lester from Imagine Your Home as we went through a home reno project. He helped us from the start when we just had some basic ideas of what we wanted to do. His knowledge and experience in the building industry shone through as we stepped our way through the project. We would certainly recommend him to anyone looking at either building or renovating their home. We took our early 80's bungalow and freshened it up, added a 2 car garage and office, and got a bigger kitchen out of the deal, which was what we wanted in the first place. Lester has been very good at using creative ideas to utilize space in a practical way, and make it look nice at current with 2013.”

“We worked with BLR drafting & design on our new home. Bernie was able to work from our style selected through Houzz photos and put our ideas on paper in an efficient and timely manner. We switched from a two storey to a bungalow during our design and Bernie was able to seamlessly transition our look. Although the project is not yet complete, we have had numerous compliments on the design. We would definitely recommend BLR drafting & design.”

“Working with Studio M and Marie Marx in particular was a joy from beginning to end . Marie oversaw a significant project including a complete kitchen renovation and addition to second story to transform a small master bedroom into a master suite complete with a sitting room, dressing room and high end four piece ensuite. Marie designed the changes, drew the plans, obtained the building permit, hired the contractor, oversaw the construction, chose the materials and finally completed the interior design. Amazing professional. Considering the size and scope of the project, there were very few glitches and Marie adeptly handled any that did arise. One year later we still love the renovation and would change nothing. I cannot recommend Studio M highly enough to anyone looking to work with a skilled, talented professional with a keen sense of design.”

“Our initial meetings with Graham were productive. He worked with our original sketches and produced a quick working budget for us. He was well versed with the regions bylaws and compliance issues and had an extensive understanding of heritage properties. Changes in financial circumstance have put a hold on our project but we know others who have since had excellent experiences with Graham and who too recommend him for large and small scale renovations. Graham Whiting is a brilliant addition to the Region of Waterloo brain trust.”

“His company completed 2 jobs for us which we were, and continue to be very happy with. Nothing but good things to say The first project was a beautiful modern library. The design was innovative and met our aesthetic requirements of an intellectual space as well our wishes to have warm and functional family space. The room continues to be our haven. I grew up surrounded by close family and stimulating books and the room captures the essence of that coziness, warmth and stimulation. The second project was a food/wine cellar. Again innovative and cool aesthetic. He has a natural eye for selecting/showcasing the beauty of wood, and in the case of the cellar blended this well with metal and concrete for a industrial look tempered by the smoothness of a bamboo grain and polished aluminum.”

“Kevin Crozier designed our Boathouse with living quarters above. Our footprint was pre-determined by local bylaws, which was a limitation.He listened carefully to our needs, from both a function, direction of light and shade, and style point of view. He put together three very different draft plans, all of which surprisingly, met our criterion. After careful deliberation, we concluded that the plan that we initially liked the least, was by far and away the best for our needs. Kevin stuck to our schedule, and was extremely helpful in evaluating the three draft plans, as per their strengths and trade offs. He was able to be critical from a technical point of view.. He made adjustments to the chosen plan, based on suggestions that we discussed. Kevin stayed within budget throughout the process. During construction, we realized an addition to our design, would add tremendous utility, and Kevin quickly put the addendum together, so that construction was not interrupted. He did a great job for us, and we would call him first for future projects.”

“We hired Marcel and the Master Trades Group to erect a fence, gate, and do a complete deck refurbishment with privacy fence to accomodate a new hottub. We are VERY happy with the results. Excellent work!”
