She designed the project in a way that allowed us to consider the two pieces (upstairs and downstairs) both separately and together. We originally thought we would focus on the upstairs initially, but we were so happy with the redesigned first floor that we ended up deciding to tackle this project first. We contracted with a local company to do the work, and they have had no problems following Ileana's architectural drawings.”

“We had Mr. Tucker design a ground floor master suite addition of about 800 sq. ft. to our about 1800 sq. ft. 2 story abode comprised of a large walk in closet, a commodious master bath, and a large bedroom with integral sitting area. The addition of a hall way to connect the addition to the balance of the house had the beneficial effect of adding a breakfast "nook" to our previously renovated kitchen and a third informal "owner's" entrance to the house. One of the important design goals was to preserve my wife's ability to observe and enjoy the park like back yard/garden and the birds therein from the kitchen and the bedroom. Another goal was that the addition not appear to be just a box stuck onto the side of the existing house. The main design criteria was to provide a ground floor living environment so we can maintain our independent living arrangement to the end.
