“We had a very complicated kitchen remodel -- our home was built 90 years ago . We wanted to preserve the style from that era while making design/flow more consistent with the efficiencies of present time. Traci D'Alessio did a phenomenal job in meeting this challenge. her thoughtful and meticulous approach, exceptional skills of listening, and genuine interest in our preferences resulted in an award winning kitchen. I would hire her again for any project. I will also mention that we had the added challenge of employing a design/build firm for our contracting/building needs which meant that at times there were conflicts and potential awkwardness with 2 architects involved. When it was necessary and she felt that the product might be compromised, Traci D'Alessio managed these potential conflicts well -- an underappreciated but VERY important skill. Last, Traci has an exceptional command of the most up-to-date technology in her profession. This enables her to make changes with lightning speed (in comparison to the surprisingly archaic methods of many local architects) -- this will save you not only time but money.”

“I asked ETIN Design to completely re-do our home office and Bozhena Etin exceeded my (already high) expectations! She carefully listened to our functional needs, incorporated our aesthetic tastes, and designed an incredibly beautiful and elegant workspace. It is a joy to be in the office all day. I was impressed with her meticulous attention to detail, her professionalism, and her rapid response to our questions. If it were possible to award 6 stars, I would.”

“My wife and I bought a home on a beautiful lake just a short distance from our offices, removed the existing home, and needed an incredible design for this unique property. We decided to retain Darrell and Liz based on some of their previous work, as well as both of them were LEED certified (an organization and green building standard I helped start in the early ‘90’s). They quickly caught our vision and desires, and made many improvements by blending in their own expertise and experience. At each iteration of the design we became more and more excited about our future home and how it seamlessly integrated into the property promising wonderful views and an incredible indoor/outdoor living experience. Sadly our plans changed and we sold the property, but have purchased 10 acres in Washington state with an even more incredible view, and will be incorporating many of the design features into our retirement home. Darrell and Liz are highly recommended if you’re wanting to do something outside the ordinary, and want architects who are easy to work with.”

“A main concern with renovating our midcentury modernist home was to maintain the integrity of the home originally designed by the locally renowned architect, James Webb. We definitely got more than be hoped for working with Sophie Piesse. I had a rough idea in my head of what I wanted the project to look like but working with Jonathan collaboratively really solidified it into something close to what I'd imagined but also better. It is important to have a professional who both knows what he's doing and takes your ideas seriously, and Meadows Architecture did that for me. The land I was building on involved plenty of problem solving and creative solutions, and the finished design looked perfect for the lot.
