“Mine was the Brooklyn Brownstone in Maria's photographs. Working with her was an extraordinary experience. She created the architectural design for our third floor kitchen and our downstairs duplex renovations, coming up with a series of design ideas that were both beautiful and within our budget. She helped select our contractor and collaborated with him during each stage of both projects. She made weekly visits to the job site, and just as importantly, the contractor would call Maria with questions as the work progressed thereby avoiding costly “do overs.” She completed both projects within our budget and even more surprisingly, on time! The results of her design work and project management are there for you to see on her design pages. I would recommend her unequivocally.”

“We met Doug while searching for a new home. Our realtor recommended him to us. We knew we wanted to find a place in town and then renovate it. Doug actually worked with us on 2 posibilities that fell through and then with the 3rd which we bought. He did the leg work on all 3 with the town hall and the building inpector to make sure we could do the renovations we were thinking of for them prior to making an offer. While working with Doug on our plans we found him to be very professional - always willing to meet with us and incorporate the changes in the designs to meet our vision. Doug went above and beyond to make sure our permits were in order. He actually attended 2 different Town Building Design meetings with me to answer any questions they had regarding our plans. He gave us an estimate and stayed true to that .... He worked well with our builder and the job went smoothly. I would definite use Doug again in the future. WE LOVE OUR HOUSE !! It is exactly what we wanted -- thanks to Doug and our builder.”

“Lisa Carlisle gutted out my old kitchen and designed a new modern kitchen beautiful in design and efficient in function. She also designed a master bathroom and was able to provide a contemporary design and exquisite en suite. Lisa worked with me to incorporate my budget and ideas into her design.She worked closely with my contractor and adapted to changes as they arose. “Jennifer Drain from Archiplicity was fantastic to work with for our new house design and construction project on Nantucket. She designed a layout that works for the way we live but also has a nice flow and interesting design. The exterior is stunning to look at and really captured the look we wanted, even with tight regulatory restrictions. As our project progressed, Jenny was a great problem-solver and budget-saver. She provided great customer service and creative solutions at every step. I'm so glad we took her advice on so many decisions. “We found a property we loved and wanted to tear it down but realized it was salvageable and hired Michael McKinley and Associates to help create our dream home. I've been an interior designer for 38 years and have my own ideas and have worked with hundreds of architects. The firm's attention to detail made them a joy to work with and I always looked forward to the next meeting. Michael McKinley and his entire staff listened carefully to me, respected my ideas and yet they brought many of their own creative ideas to the project. In the beginning of the project we asked Michael McKinley and Associates to give us a budget estimate and we were thrilled that the renovation came in on budget and on time...a rarity in this business.”
