“2017-07-02 My husband and I had been thinking about remodeling our master bathroom for a few years, but we took our time to start it because we couldn’t find any designers we liked. However, after we had a consultation with Yuki, we had a good feeling that she would create our dream bathroom. She listened to our desires carefully and she created the design exactly how I wanted it to be. She communicated quite positively with our contractor and directed all the details of her design. Her advice was very professional and precise. Because of Yuki’s aesthetic design style, our dream bathroom turned out to be far better than we expected. We couldn’t go through the remodeling process without her. My husband and I are also planning an addition for our house in the future, and Yuki is the only person we will trust to work on our project again!”

“Mehran is extremely knowledgeable from a design, cost, and feasibility perspective. I worked with Mehran on a complete teardown/rebuild of an existing single family home to a 90% new home. The main factors I needed addressed were cost concerns while keeping the best design and functionality for resale. Mehran gave insightful opinion and pointed out issues I had not and was not able to spot due to my relative unfamiliarity. His years of experience allows him insight on issues from both a building and cost perspective that would otherwise go unnoticed. Highly recommended.”

“I had the pleasure of collaborating with designer Kara Silkwood on a major residential remodel and addition located in Los Gatos, California. She was a tremendous asset to our design team as our small addition grew to a whole-house remodel and addition--approximately 3,000 sq. ft. single story home. Together, we transformed a simple ranch style home into a custom detailed, beautifully decorated craftsman style home inside and out. “We worked with Alexandra for a rebuild of our home, upgrading it from a 3bd/1.5 bath to a 4bd/3.5bath while adding a second floor and changing the layout of the house dramatically. We chose Alexandra based on two critical expectations: that she would be good to work with (after all, you spend countless hours with your architect on a very expensive project), and that she would share our philosophy regarding the importance of combining form and function in house design. We were very lucky to have chosen her. Alexandra indeed spent countless hours with us. She paid careful attention to our wishes and needs. She worked patiently through every detail of the house, helping us maximize not only our living space but also important functional aspects of the house. From beautifully located and proportioned stairs to storage for kids backpacks under an entryway bench and built-in cabinets to roof segments and their slopes, everything was thoughtful, detailed, and practical. Alexandra also showed great professional and personal skill in navigating the permitting process, developing a good relationship with the city’s planning department that allowed us to enjoy all the benefits of the zoning code. She was always ready to help and mediate successfully when issues inevitably came up with our contractor. She followed through with everything she said she would in an even, friendly, and professional manner. We are delighted with our home and, truth be told, also take joy in the many compliments we get from anybody who visits our home or even passes by it. Alexandra was wonderful and we can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“This team was contracted to do the architectural work on an addition to my home. I sketched out the overall design. Nong listened and offered his suggestions. At the conclusion, his overall design and improvements when far beyond what I had envisioned. He walk through all the paperwork and time needed to get all the permits which allowed me time to take care of the family and talk about the new look. The project is still under construction, but I know my family and I will be happy with what we both (myself and Nong) envisioned.”
