Stefanie est venu visiter la maison nous à proposé des options pour rendre la maison plus adapté à nos besoin (isolation exterieur, agrandissement d'une chambre en déplacant la salle de bain sur un espace peu utilisé, instalation d'un escalier central avec aménagement du grenier ajoutant une grande piece...). Malheureusement apres avoir validé le projet avec Stefanie le vendeur à retiré la maison de la vente. “Liz Forest (EMF Management) was recommended by a colleague when we were looking for someone to project manage the renovation of our new home. At that time, her rate was the most competitive so in addition to the colleague’s recommendation, we decided to hire her. The thing we appreciated most about Liz was she spent our money carefully like it was her own. At times, she even negotiated with contractors harder than we would have done to get us the best rates. She was careful and correct in her charges, even generous in her calculations (of time worked) to benefit us. She asks for quotes from several contractors and then gives her advice to us which she thinks is best. I have no “bad” moments, we were always meeting the timeline we have set. Liz put up a chart in the house and was able to stay close to the timeline at most times. This also served as a reminder to the workers about the schedule. Liz speaks French very well. She communicated with the vendors well. She is kind to them and tough if she has to be. She is almost always at the site. If she cannot be there, she makes sure that they are there and always inspecting and checking what is being done/has been done. She pays attention to details and even gives special attention to those details that we have indicated as important to us. Once she had to communicate discouraging information to us, it was about getting some tax break because we chose 3 pane windows. We initially thought that it was possible but when Liz did the research it turned out that we could not do it. Liz even offered to do the paperwork for us if it had been possible. This situation was not within Liz’s control. It is clear Liz likes to do this type of work so her motivation is double because it comes from within. Our family saved so much time and energy (and I would even dare say money!) by having Liz help us with the works in the house. If you decide to hire her, I am sure you will be very content with how she will do her work. I highly recommend Liz and would work with her again.”
