Apart from council "doing my head in" the stress relief by Io Architecture stepping in and being persistence proved worthwhile and finally gave us our expected and deserving result. “I have had the privilege of working alongside Emily Nair of i.Balter Design on a number of construction projects. Emily’s most valuable qualities are her attention to detail, her meticulousness with her drawings and her calm and efficient approach. She has a warm and respectful manner with clients and is highly approachable. Emily’s ability to cater for the specific needs of her clients is outstanding. She is a great listener and is able to individualise her designs to suit the lifestyles of the people she designs for. She is highly organised and takes the stress away from the challenging and somewhat tedious tasks of obtaining permits and liaising with Council. I have received terrific feedback from many happy clients about Emily’s professionalism. From a builder’s perspective, Emily’s plans are highly detailed and accurate. She is very knowledgeable with her understanding of construction, therefore making required changes to plans easily and quickly. “Hi my name is Vicki and I hired 1 Step Design and Develop to assist me with designing and building my first home. I found the team to be extremely professional and helpful with all aspects of the project. Their ability to meet deadlines, work within my budget and work with others such as the council and my solicitor etc. was great. They also connected me with amazing builders that made the entire process very stress free for which I am extremely appreciative of. They arranged meetings where i could go and look at the work of the builders (both completed properties and ones in the process of being built) to help me evaluate the quality of the work and the prospective people I would be hiring. I will definitely be using 1 Step Design and Develop for all my future projects and would recommend them to anyone who is interested in designing and building their own home. Whilst having been confronted with numerous challenges throughout the process, in the end without their experience it would have been difficult getting to an end. The project won an architectural design award at the City of Bayside and the design has stood the test of time.”
