“We hired architect Richard Hughes, of Element 5 Architecture, to redesign the living areas of our 1957 home. We wanted more light and greater functionality for the space. From the beginning, Richard was professional, approachable, listened to our needs, and communicated his concept well. He was also open to the ideas that my husband and I had about our project and incorporated many of those into the final design. Work was done in a timely manner, and the final result is a more inviting and useable space that’s great for entertaining and for everyday living.”

“We hired Traci Kelley to draw up our house plans after considering doing it ourselves, realizing that we had gotten in over our heads. We are so glad that we went with her. I was very happy with her from the first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and gave her own input that ended up being far better than what I had imagined and thought of things that I had not considered. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. I got absolutely everything I wanted and more without any costly back and forth, we did some minor changes to the very first draft and that was it. The finished plans are amazing, we can't wait to see our house built.”

They worked within our budget while providing options and possibilities that we hadn’t considered. They listened carefully to our needs, tastes and desires and helped us reimagine and rediscover our home! Our home now feels and lives bigger, it’s more open, light and usable - even though we didn’t add square footage to the home’s original footprint. They helped us vet bids and select our contractor and they provided the appropriate attention to detail and follow-through. All-in-all a great experience. “We hired Janet to help us design our home on Lake Travis. She was an absolute delight to work with throughout the entire process. I am one of those clients that has a very specific idea of what I want. And Janet is one of those designers that actually listens to what the client has in mind, and then helps them make it even better. She wan't creating her idea of our perfect home, she was helping us create our vision for our home. She was timely and professional, but also has a great sense of humor. Probbably the only negative thing anyone could say about her is that she is a work-a-holic...because she truly loves what she does! Would I hire her again? Absolutely! When a remodeling project recently came up she was the first person that I called. I would recommend her again and again.”

“Our builder recommended Elliott as one of the very innovative architects. Elliott was green long before green building was cool. He listened to our high level requirements, showed us various plans and provided us his references, visited our lot, sat down with us multiple times, and eventually came up with a very unique PORTE-COCHÈRE design. We built a beautiful custom house with little to no surprises with his guidance along the way. After 10 years in this house, we could not have been happier!”

“When my husband and I took on a major remodel of our mid century home we interviewed several architects. It was clear from the beginning Jim was the right choice. He asked detailed questions about our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, listened carefully and took every detail into account when designing our dream home. The result was an artistic, well functioning design that appeared twice as large without changing the original footprint of the house. Jim was very cost conscious and researched every aspect to help keep us within budget. He worked with the contractor throughout the project making sure the plans were precisely implemented and came up with creative solutions for any unexpected challenges. I could go on with more praises for Jim but probably the best recommendation would be to say without any question we would use him again.”
