“Fineline Architechs offered us a fantastic service. We live in a Tudor, listed building which required a great deal of renovation and a total revamp of the large parts of the house. Fineline delivered a fabulous design which was both contemporary but also sympathetic to the original ancient building. Both Katie and Chris had great ideas and where a joy to work with. They were also excellent at dealing with our local council and conservation officer to ensure that the designs we submitted would have the highest likelihood of success, which indeed they did as we had the entire programme of works agreed by the planning department. I can not recommend Fineline highly enough and I would definitely use them again.”

“In designing our new kitchen there were two major hurdles – a narrow L shaped room opening into an about to be built orangery; and a husband who wanted high gloss white and handless units. We invested considerable hours in kitchen design shops but felt that what we were getting would look like a laboratory or a dental practitioner. We decided that the designs were too linear and we needed some curves and a friend recommended Johnny Grey. We met with Johnny Grey and suddenly we could see some light at the end of the kitchen design tunnel. He listened to our needs and wishes and produced a set of designs which unquestionably surpassed anything else we had previously come up with or had envisaged. He recommended a series of zones for our kitchen – reception/home office ; high tech prep area; cooking /informal dining. He combined different English woods with concrete; marble with corian and stainless steel ; and they work superbly together . We love our new kitchen / informal dining area and it continues to bring us pleasure after 18 months. It unquestionably has the WOW factor and is admired by all our friends. It also has fantastic storage capacity and all the modern gadgets. We were very involved at all stages and it was a pleasure to work with Johnny and his team. We visited the company making the units and were very impressed with the standard of craftsmanship. All of his team are first class artisans”

“Steven White of WGADD has been working for us on the drawings for a small domestic project to enable us to increase the light and make better use of the living space In our kitchen and dining areas. He has always been helpful, approachable, professional and reliable. We are currently waiting for a planning decision following the submission of the agreed drawings and will be liaising with Steven for the next steps in our project. We have valued his expertise with such projects.”

All of these projects are substantial but I have not felt overwhelmed due to the excellent level of service and care I have received from AO. Their key strengths lie not only in the quality of their architectural ideas and drawings but, most importantly, in their ability to listen to the client and manage complicated planning applications.”

“CFW were outstanding taking our project, which already had planning permission granted, through RIBA stages 4A to 7. Philip was very helpful and hands on, providing expertise and insight throughout the technical design, tendering process, the actual build, then snagging through to completion. I highly recommend CFW and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.”

“We hired Noel Wright from Noel Wrights Architects in March 2012. We loved the look of his previous work and believed he would be a great fit for us. Our project was not straightforward and we needed someone who had the vision and skill to make the best possible renovation of a very old property on a limited budget. We found Noel to be a highly creative architect with a great eye for detail, who at the same time had a very practical and pragmatic approach to design. He was able to steer us diplomatically through the whole process, which turned out to be the creation of a wonderful family home - that didn't break the bank! When I compare notes with friends over their architect and builder experiences I feel very smug indeed that we made a great choice and I would never hesitate to work with Noel again.”
