“My rating is actually 4+, but the system only allows for whole numbers. My wife and I contracted Ray Sheedy in 2004 to help us with the renovation of a 1927 home. We were still living in the Washington, DC area, but needed an architect/designer in the Charlotte area. After being referred to Ray and a brief conversation with him, he was immediately taking measurements and determining the feasibility of some of the things we were considering. We spent about two months collaborating with Ray and finalizing our plans. My wife commented several times about how well Ray listened and we were both impressed with his creative suggestions. The construction took another 6-7 months. During the construction process Ray checked on the progress and was available when things came up and we needed to make adjustments or decisions. Looking back, I should have taken his advice regarding more of the adjustments. He really was acting as our advocate and trying to ensure that the building was done according to the plan.
