“Having been initially impressed by Nick's work on his own home, my first contact with him was some years ago when he designed a loft conversion for me at a previous address. I therefore had no hesitation in asking him to design and help oversee the work at my new house in 2016, which involved expanding a shower room in a loft conversion within its existing planning remit and re-modelling the downstairs living area. In the loft, he successfully doubled the size of my shower room. In the living area, one of the drawbacks was that the house is mid-terrace Edwardian and it can be quite dark. Nick specialises in maximising light and he used glass in a way that has transformed the property while still retaining the character of the original building. I was also struggling for storage space and he was able to create much more which, while unobtrusive, more than meets my needs. Nick's is straightforward and friendly to deal with and I'd certainly recommend him.”

“Alessandra supported us with our kitchen renovation. She spent with us half day at Magnet to design our kitchen, select the materials and the colours. She was very careful and detailed oriented to make sure the kitchen we were getting was exactly what we needed/wished for. Important to note that Alessandra is open find solution for what you need/wish for (different from other architects who wants to put their mark and leave their “stamp” in their designs). She did delivered not a kitchen, but what we called a master piece of art - her careful selection of colour and materials + solutions to corners and panels at the top/at the bottom to hide electrics paid off having her in that work. Everyone who comes to our house or lastly who sees our kitchen from Zoom/Skype or Team spots how beautiful it is (not only beautiful, but for us who uses the kitchen it is entirely functional, easy to clean and all sorted). Thank you Alessandra - you made us very happy and ensured lockdown could be easily managed with our new lovely and super functional (easy to clean) kitchen! Before Alessandra - red kitchen. “I engaged Chris to draw up plans for a house extension and garage conversion into an office and shed. I was extremely impressed with Chris's attitude and professionalism throughout the whole process. He kept me informed of his work, advised me where necessary and came to see me at regular intervals to review the design and ensure I understood all aspects of the work clearly. Chris's knowledge through the planning process was invaluable and helped get this approved effortlessly. His detailed and thorough plans and drawings meant that the builders (a number of whom Chris recommended) could price up this work in an accurate manner and provide detailed timelines for the project. Which as a project manager myself was great to see! There is absolutely no doubt I would use Chris again for any other projects and have happily recommended him to friends and family.”

“The most efficient and friendly staff, highly professional team that can execute your kitchen dreams and desires to an exact specification! The expertise that the team had from the inception with the detailed drawings with great design ideas and 3D visuals created by Sonya, and the level of detail from the installation manager Avtar who was on site during the process and the complete knowledge of every aspect of a kitchen from appliances, accessories, colour schemes and materials and the utilization of space from the directors Ajit and Sukh gave us clear confidence in their work and passion for the job and service provided. They were extremely personable, warm, friendly and charming and a complete joy to have been serviced by. The finished product has been complimented by every guest and is now clearly the highlight of our home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great quality kitchen with fantastic service to go with it! Our family thank you Design Abode for realising our dream kitchen. One happy customer!”

“VC Design was recommended to me and I would do the same without hesitation. We contacted Veronica about drawing up plans for our ground floor extension and although conceptually we had a clear idea of what we wanted to she was invaluable in advising us how to best use the space and our options within the parameters of planning. She also contacted previous clients and arranged for us to see the work they had done, this allowed us to see first hand some of the ideas we had discussed. Veronica submitted the planning application and we have now received our approval - a job very well done.”

“I retained Carta Nova to work on my apartment in the US. I worked with Eva to come up with a few ideas and she expertly brought everything together--color scheme, interior architecture as well as the few minor structural changes that I wanted to do. I loved the result and it helped substantially when renting out the apartment. Eva listened to my ideas, understood what I wanted and helped to crystallize those notions into ideas... and then made the ideas become reality. It made living in my apartment so much more pleasurable and improved my bottom line when I decided to rent it out. I highly recommend working with Carta Nova.”

“Model Projects were a delight, from the initial brief with James who immediately took my requirements and turned them into a fantastic design - spot on first time with no amendments necessary. Kathryn then took over on a day to day basis as project manager and I cannot praise her highly enough. Dealing with the local authority, building control, structural engineers and the many contractors was done with calm and determination and I now have my dream space.”

“Louise made the whole process a very enjoyable experience. From the start she asked questions and listened to the answers, which means that I have a space that I want and is not only lovely, but works well for my family. I felt the pressure taken off me as after the design phase Louise liaised with the builders for me to ensure everyone was working together and that gave me confidence that it would all come together smoothly. She is very calm and reassuring. I have already recommended her on to friends and will do so again!”
