“Susanne Doise has worked for us as a designer and project manager, introducing contemporary ideas and good space solutions always with her touch of European flavor . We enlarged and modified the interior and exterior of the second floor of a 50 year old house into an open space concept mostly in the dining, sitting and kitchen area as well as the Master Bedroom quarters. Overall good work, within budget and complete understanding of our needs and lifestyle.”

“I hired Dan Tatham Design Associates to do a number of small project, both inside and outside my new home. I am very pleased with the results: I have a beautiful new kitchen sink/faucet with surround tile designed and installed smoothly and quickly; on the main floor a wall was designed and built to incorporate a treasured, large stained glass window, enclosing the ground floor of the house both for privacy as well as heat efficiency. The design for this wall enhances and compliments the original design work that was already in place. A laundry room was reconfigured to maximize space and create additional storage. Landscape design work has designated future patio construction, and the re-design of 2 woodsheds has maximized storage and access to winter firewood. Not only was the work done quickly and within budget, it was easy to collaborate and communicate my ideas. Tatham Designs listened to my requirements and then helped me arrive at a final design and budget. In every case, the finished projects exceeded my expectations.”

“David was nothing short of amazing! Not only was he excited and enthusiastic about our project, he was more than willing to work with our budget and our ideas. He listened to our brief and incorporated everything into the overall design. He had some fantastic ideas and was able create our dream home. He took the time to talk us through every step of the process and made sure we understood each phase. We always knew what to expect and it was so easy to communicate and work together to achieve the results we were hoping for. He was always professional and open to discussion and just so easy to work with. “Howard and Ana of Sandrin Leung Architecture were a joy to work with. They are young and dynamic, full of good ideas and always listened to our desires. They 'got' us right away so the plans reflected our needs and taste. They took the time to visit us in our old home before we started so they could get a feel of our tastes and talked about what we wanted in our new home. Every time we wanted a tweak here or there they responded speedily and with confidence. Their knowledge of code, solar dynamics, and space helped us build our dream home. The space they designed flows so well that the home is a pleasure to live in. I would highly recommend Sandrin Leung Architecture.”

“Our waterfront, island property in Howe Sound was our favourite refuge from the city for 8 years before we finally decided to build a cabin. James won us over immediately with his relaxed, attentive approach, and his excellent understanding of what is truly important to people who value their natural environments. Seven years later, we are finally building this home, and it's stunning. I can't thank James enough for giving us this beautiful space that we could never have imagined on our own. (We are currently under construction, so photos represent a work in progress)”

“I enjoyed working with Michael on this project which was a major renovation of my 1980s era kitchen and dining area (see Havelock photos). Michael worked patiently with me to determine what I wanted and encouraged me to think outside the existing 'box' that was my old kitchen. He was very professional and honest in providing advice and design options. He made me feel that I was part of the design process and my ideas and needs were of the upmost importance in the end result. He had a number of unique ideas that really added to the renovation (for example small display shelves inserted on the kitchen and dining room side of a half wall, uniquely designed coat rack and bench for my front entrance, etc). The contractor that he recommended was first class and extremely professional. The reaction of friends and family who have seen the renovation has been overwhelmingly positive and the most frequent comment is "Wow". Overall, I am very satisfied with the entire process from design to completion and would highly recommend Michael as a dedicated professional who takes pride in his work to produce an outstanding result.”
