“I commissioned SLLD to provide a lighting scheme for my Grade A listed apartment in the Old Town in Edinburgh. The particular design challenge was to highlight a long, quite dark hall with a barrel vaulted ceiling. The SLLD solution exceeded my expectations with discreet floor lighting complimented by clever illumination that highlighted the Victorian ceiling features. Overall the apartment has been transformed with the lighting scheme. SLLD provided a highly professional service including a large dash of creativity.”

Their faceplates are excellent quality, with sufficient "wow" for most clients- we've used but even better, they are able to go the extra mile producing bespoke finishes where required enabling the client to get the result desired. This is not always easy and as they care about the final finish and the client's satisfaction on one stately home project they re-ran the bespoke plating taking it from good to perfect match. We regularly specify the Ambassador and Horizon ranges for switches and sockets and data points. Their customer service is superb and queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. We will continue to recommend them to our clients.”
