They also built a detached garage and took care of all my landscaping. The project was a huge success. They did what was promised and finished before the expected complete date. There price was fair and they stuck to it. There were no extra charges as the project was being done. They were on time, respectful, professional and pleasure to deal with. “After Sandy, I needed work done...lots and lots of work, but first my place needed to be cleaned and getting the mold out was first and foremost. Based on a friends experience with steve, I brought him in for an estimate. He was fair, nice and was going to use a new type of mold removal without all the harshness to the environment. It was amazing how hard steve and his crew worked day after day to get my house livable again....and when the bad stuff was out....a lot of new stuff had to come in, like floors and walls....and steve and a different crew came in for that.....then, I needed design, or rather, redesign. Steve is a modern day renaissance man, my house looks amazing, and steve did it all...clean out, design, paint, walls, floors, tile, plumbing...he hired the best people to work with him, so I got the best of everything. I am indebted to steve, for he did a magnificent job on my home, remembering that it wasn't just a house, but my home that a storm demolished. A home where all my personal items were lost. He was on time, on budget compassionate, fair and honest. You'll be happy if you leave it 2 steve.”

“I am really glad to have the opportunity to review Geiss Custom Builders, and Cliff Geissler in particular. I have done many renovations over the years, including a total redo of a 15,000 sq ft house in Short Hills, as well as renovations in Vermont, Cape Cod, and many years ago in Scotch Plains. I am coming to the end of a major renovation of a 3000 sq ft town house in Florham Park. Cliff and I agreed to work together at the end of August, 2013. I am overwhelmingly satisfied working with him. His highest grade goes to overall customer satisfaction. He does not stop until I am completely happy. Quite frankly, I have never experienced this with any builders in the past. Cliff has decades of experience and knowledge, and coupled with his desire to please, the journey was very smooth. We would have met budgets and deadlines if it were not for my multiple change orders, which were handled fairly and without ever a complaint. Obviously it delayed our completion deadline, but I think without the changes we would have completed the project prior to the estimated completion date. These projects involve working with many subcontractors. Clearly the subs thought highly of Cliff, and the orchestration was seamless. I could really go on and on, but suffice to say that when a builder's primary goal is customer satisfaction throughout the process (which in many cases can be VERY difficult), the value to the client is priceless.”

Mr. Debenedetto figured the job would take four days and it was completed as scheduled. He stopped by in the morning to make sure his men were doing exactly what he had promised in our contract and he stopped at the end of the day to confirm the project was on schedule.
