“The first project was a kitchen re-do including a six foot addition plus converting the basement into an apartment. The work was very high quality and improved the outside appearance of my house. His bid was comparable to others and I liked the fact he worked by himself (except for subcontractors) rather than a large crew. He always had a solution for any problem during the construction and the job was completed on schedule and within the budget. Since then he has been back at least six times for smaller projects. I did not bother to obtain other bids for any of them. I would highly recommend this contractor - which I have.”

“Jason with J & G Builders has done several jobs for us including finishing our whole basement, remodeling our laundry room, tiling our bathrooms and installing a new front door. He is very knowledgeable about all types of jobs and if he doesn't know, he is not afraid to let you know that and he will seek expert knowledge from elsewhere. He is very trustworthy and does a great job cleaning up after himself each night after his work is done. I would highly recommend J & G Builders and plan to use them again in the future.”

“Structural consultation - check for damage of settling in sun room and possible carpenter ant damage , plumbing - washing machine valve leak causing water damage to walls and basement ceiling , electrical - fan in shower was old with no safety and blew out, water damage - from water leakage and did mold clean-up also , shower maintenance - caulking, deck - cleaning and staining. There is nothing that FirstCall can't do and they are extremely knowledgeable, professional, best customer service and do excellent work!”

“I have had Iowa Home Consulting do a number of jobs for me this past year. Matthew is very good at communicating and always responded in a timely manner to any questions I had. Also, this company does everything! I had them put in glass tile back splash in my kitchen, then they put in can lights in the ceiling, they repaired the transitions from the tile to the wood floors, put in sun tunnels, fixed the bathroom lighting, and fixed any area of my ceiling where there had been a leak. Everything was done professionally and looks super. I couldn't be happier, and I would definitely recommend Iowa Home Consulting for anything you need done.”
