“After interviewing several general contractors to do an extensive remodel of our 1950s ranch home designed by architect Sophie Piesse, we selected Larry and Susan from New Dimension Construction. The project began in Nov 2015 and was completed in the Spring of 2016. We tore out walls to make open spaces, completely redid the kitchen and bathroom, upgraded the electrical, plumbing, and insulation, added a new roof, windows, and walls, etc. Throughout the project, we knew what work would be completed each week, what decisions we needed to make, and where we were with the schedule. Susan and Larry were great at communicating regarding different choices and the cost for each. There were no price surprises on this job. The worksite was kept clean and neat which was important as we lived in part of the home during most of the renovation (except for when the HVAC and flooring was installed) using a temporary kitchen. The crew was a pleasure to have around. Larry was extremely knowledgable and brought great subcontractors to the job. As always during construction, we ran into some unexpected issues> Each time New Dimension Construction efficiently and expeditiously helped us find a good solution and move forward. We think the quality of the work is exceptional. There is nothing we would change about the project.”

The entire remodeling process was started and completed on time, workmanship and even each day's cleanup were all done professionally. The best part was that the entire process and results exceeded our expectations, resulting in a painless process. The kitchen was gutted including the flooring. New cabinets, appliances, new oak flooring and an additional window were added back. The breakfast room became the laundry room and pantry storage. The old laundry room became a mud room. The family room received a new oak floor and a new gas fireplace. A new gas fireplace was added to the living room. A new wine bar with two wine refrigerators was added to another room with a stone floor that leads to a screened-in porch. We asked lots of questions and we needed lots of direction and guidance. And we got it. As we look back, we think the process and outcome of this project is almost too good to be true. But it is true. “DDM came out to look at some problems on my deck and outside wall of the house where the deck was attached. Mr. Mondeau (owner) trouble shot the problem effectively and completely repaired and reinforced the deck where it attached to the wall as well as reinforcing the wall and made sure that the rain would drain more effectively to make sure the problem would not recur. The company also installed insulation in the attic, making sure that I got the desired results within my budget. I also used DDM when I wanted carpet/linoleum replaced with laminate flooring and Mr. Mondeau again made sure that I got a look I liked at a price I could afford. David Mondeau, owner of DDM, is very knowledgable and extremely professional. I am more than happy with his work and will gladly use is company in the future.”
