They have the highest level of skilled workmanship we have ever seen. They tell you the day before what time they will be there, and they are there at that time! They give you a very detailed and itemized quote. As with any project sometimes things come up that are surprises to both the homeowner and contractor. They worked with us to try and find a cost effective solution to our problem. They are very, very good at their jobs. They know how to do many many things and are excellent at all of them. They have professional associates as well available if need be. Here is an example of their quality of workmanship. The ceiling had new pot lights added and they mudded and sanded the ceiling. Before painting they didn't like the finish, and redid the areas they were concerned about, creating a flawless ceiling in the process! We never even noticed (and we are very fussy clients!), but they did!! That is the difference, highest level of quality is important to them as well. “Over a period of about 13-14 years, Classic Touch Renovations has managed a number of renovation projects for me in two different condominiums. 1) Very shortly after moving into my current home, Cristiano and his crew removed carpeting in the kitchen, front hall and main floor bathroom, replacing it with required Regupol under-padding and marble flooring, as well as removing and painting all kitchen cupboards, and painting the two upstairs bedrooms. 2) Classic Touch renovated the large upstairs ensuite bathroom, installing QuietRock soundproofing, marble flooring and baseboards, removing the existing vanity and installing a new vanity, and replacing all existing fixtures. Classic Touch picks up virtually all material needed – unlike other contractors who often require the customer to arrange for pick-up or delivery of, for example, vanities, Regupol and QuietRock – very difficult for homeowners. 3) Classic Touch later renovated the remainder of the main floor bathroom, picking up and installing a new vanity, installing QuietRock sound-proofing on two walls, removing under-valance fluorescent lighting, repairing the valence and installing new track lighting. 4) Classic Touch project-managed and handled my entire kitchen renovation which included demolition of the existing kitchen, installation of Quiet-Rock sound-proofing, new cupboards, counter-tops, glass tile backsplash, appliances, additional flooring, additional electrical, raising the ceiling, installing an island with overhead valance, and construction of two unique curved walls, with custom finished cut-outs for displaying personal objects. There are several key elements that ensure my continued choice of Cristiano and his company. No matter what the job is, it always gets done at a fair price and in reasonable time. If any problems arise, I know that Classic Touch can and will solve it – no question – any problem, and that’s a huge relief when in the midst of construction. And perhaps best of, in all these years, there is never ever any complaining at all about anything – unlike a couple of contractors I’ve dealt with (some time ago) who were clearly unhappy with just about everything, and spend their days in one’s home telling the customer what a terrible job they have to do, what a bad choice the customer has made, how difficult/unpleasant/tough their particular job is. I don’t deal with those contractors anymore. This – attitude, demeanour and focus on the job at hand - is part of what makes dealing with Classic Touch such a pleasure and such a relief.”
