“Replaced two windows. Installed new kitchen tile. Replaced stone flooring in front door entry way. Repaired damage caused by carpenter ants to one side of my house. Replaced roof on house. Replaced roof on storage shed and added gutter to it. Had him do work on my nephew's condo in Middletown, Ct where he installed new ceramic tile in the condo bathroom and replaced much of the floor molding., and replaced the threshold leading into kitchen. He has done much work for me. He is reasonable, on time, and has always provided value for the money I spent. I will always rely on Lee for any home repairs I need. All my dealings with him for myself and my nephew go back at least three years. The last (new roof) in June of 2015.”

“MOST Builders & General Contracting provided an estimate that was in-line with other kitchen remodeling companies in the area. The project was to remove current cabinets and replace with new, using relatively the same footprint and to convert a coat closet to a dry bar, including the installation of a shelf for wine bottles and rack for glasses. MOST Builders custom built the new cabinets and installed them, worked with the countertop installer and plumber to coordinate demolition of old and installation of new. Very neat, cleaned up each day after working and removed debris from work site. I also hired them to replace old inside doors with new, including installation of new handles. I would hire them again for any other work needed in my house!”

“I thought I had my kitchen all planned out, in my mind at least...After calling and visiting several contractors we decided on H & R, why, because from the start we took a liking to Hunter , as a person and a professional. My experience in the past with other jobs on my house was less than satisfactory, you know chasing the General Contractor to find out WHEN they were coming back, problems before, during and after the job was complete. We got NONE of that with Hunter and his team. A little about his team : they are friendly, professional and CLEAN! But most of all the skills that these men have supersedes the price they charge. Hunter and his team were able to take my vision and add to it which resulted in a kitchen that exceeded my expectations. The budget...most of the time they get you with the budget but Hunter did not do that he gave us a number and we came under it, even with all my add ons. We had an ugly 1950's cabinet that Mario ( one of his contractors) was able to make into a BEAUTIFUL barn door...a one of a kind show piece that I LOVE!!! The attention to detail all over is just CRAZY good! Hunter emailed me daily with updates on what they did and what would be happening the next day. The kitchen of my dreams that I had been planning in my head for 14 years was well worth the wait and I am very glad we chose H & R to take on this task. I highly recommend them!”

“I cannot say enough about Newton Carpenters. We had interviewed and gotten estimates from about 4 or 5 contractors and decided to go with them for our major kitchen renovation. Right from the beginning, Greg came over and listened to our vision-met with us frequently, brought samples to see if we were in sync and on the same page. He is extremely professional and hard working. He was respectful of our time and asked from the start when he could stay until and what time he could arrive, and if he could come on weekends!! He brought either one or two guys with him (plus the other specialty contractors that he brought in) who we got to know and like very much also. My kids were sad to see them leave. I tell my friends that these guys worked like a team of 15 people. For the amount of work that was done in my house, walls knocked down, floors put down thru almost the entire downstairs, lighting, plumbing, down drafts put in for stove. Large reinforments beams had to be put up to hold up the house and they had to pour concrete footings in basement. - This is of course only touching on some of the things they had to do. They completed the project in about two months which I think is unheard of. What is amazing about Greg and hard to find these days is his talent as a cabinet maker/carpenter. He is not just a contracter, he is an artist as well. I wanted old beams in my house and he made replications in his workshop that are unbelievable. They took days of hand scraping , chipping, banging, putting wormholes in and staining. These beams look like the real deal. The guys were clean and as I stated above super great to have around. I never had to worry about leaving my kids or the alone. Danielle, Greg's wife was our communicater and behind the scenes runs the Newton Carpenter operation very smoothly and seamlessly. She arranged all communication for sub-contractors. Gave us suggestions, set up payments, Another thing that was truly amazing in working together with Newton is that we formed a relationship which I think tends to happen in a larger project. What I mean by that is that, Greg wanted to be fair to us and we did to them when coming up against unforeseen snags that always happen in a large project. We will ALWAYS use them for every project now, big or small, and I think that's what was so great, we were all in sync and knew that. Some contractors would try and get their extra money or have several projects going leaving people feeling frustrated.
