“Yankee remodeler was called to give a quote to find out how much a leak repair would cost. We had a contract to include taking off siding and to trace the leak. When one of the staff showed up and looked at the job he said it was not the siding but a pipe on the roof. They made the repair and worked great. Cost has 1/3 the original estimate. We had them come pack and repaint the ceiling where the leak had caused paint damage. Still less then the original estimate. They are coming back next month to replace the older windows in the house. I would HIGHLY recommend them.”

“John started working with A Direct back in 2004! [woah! 10 years flew right by]. John is a fantastic carpenter, as well as a great person. From a customer's point of view, they always remark on how knowledgeable and patient he is. He truly takes pride in his work, and is very thorough from design to install on each job. We only recommend a handful of contractors to walk-in retail customers, and John/Colours Construction is definitely one of them.”

The attention to detail and professionalism is unparalleled. We have had several contractors provide us estimates and simply hand us a catalog to select materials with no guidance whatsoever. Edwin approached the project from an artistic point of view and was able to provide us with an image of what the house would look like upon completion which literally took all of the guess work out of the equation. “Fred Lappe has been doing work for me for more than 10 years. he is honest, reliable, and above all the job gets done properly. No job is too small and no job too big. When my landscaper phoned me regards the tree that fell on my house during a storm. It created a hole in the roof and siding. I called Fred. He and his guys got the place buttoned up and covered that day. He then fixed everything including negotiating with the insurance company.”

“Joe and his team have done several projects in my home. They treat my home like theirs and are always meticulous and clean. For our last project, Joe's team worked closely with me to make sure my requirements were met. We were building an accent wall in the master bedroom. The wall was horizontal wood planks painted to look like white driftwood. We were working with different color samples and they gave me time to evaluate the samples they made before moving forward to the next phase. They were very patient with my challenging weekend schedule. The final product was not only beautiful but amazing. Great job !”
