“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! “Dino installed our kitchen cabinets with perfect precision and detail. He built our island beautifully like a piece of furniture. He sat with us through the entire kitchen design to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and that all designs made sense with functionality and fit. He often followed up with vendors to ensure we got what we paid for and received the best finished product. Dino was a great liaison for us to source the right products and subcontractors, we are not in the construction business and this was our first home and renovation. He spent all the time we needed with us and we never felt rushed. He completed our project down to last detail before moving onto his next job. We felt we could then and still can call him anytime with questions.”

“Searched for a deck contractor for well over a year. Rob, from Absolute Decks Basements, was not only the best priced - but he was honest and very easy to work with. The gentlemen he had working for him were courteous and incredibly hard workers. Most mornings - they were there before we left for work and were still working when we returned at night. Rob returned several times after completion to make sure we were happy with the result. We look forward to working with Rob again for our basement and an extension to our new deck. Thanks, Rob!!!!!”

What we feared would be a stressful experience turned out to be an enjoyable one. Though we had a vision of what we hoped our home would be, it was Anthony's suggestions that truly made a difference. He turned our "tired" house into a beautiful home that we hope to enjoy for many years. All members of the Anthony James team were knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. “We were referred to Legacy Contracting by several people. They are a quality operation from start to finish. We witnessed firsthand the level of professionalism from all. Each member of Legacy, from Owner down earned our trust and respect and treated our home as though it were their own. We renovated approximately 1,100 sq ft of the main part of our home. Legacy Contracting removed all of the walls, resulting in an open concept new Kitchen, Dining and Living Area that we had desired for years. The quality and design of their craftsmanship was amazing. In fact, several visitors to our home assumed we hired an architect to do the design prior to having Legacy do the renovation, when in reality it was Legacy who offered the suggestions. Our renovation was completed on time and within budget and the outcome far exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to refer Legacy Contracting to anyone.”

“I contracted with Conniff Construction in February 2015, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. As a result of a previous fraudulent contractor, I was left with a barely functioning bathroom in my home. Due to a mold issue, homeowners insurance granted us coverage for a bathroom repair. We didn't do our due diligence in selecting this original contractor (reading reviews, browsing the internet for credentials/past work, etc), and we suffered because of it. The previous contractor came in, ripped out all the walls and flooring, destroyed the plumbing, and ran off with the money - leaving us still with the mold problem and without a functioning bathroom. Conniff Construction came to the rescue and repaired our bathroom beautifully, and in a timely manner. Both Sean and John were extremely professional to work with, and had only their clients best interests in mind. They put our bathroom back together, including a custom tile floor job, reinstallment of sheetrock, rerouting of problematic plumbing, installation of new tub and removal of old tub, and most of all - rid us of the mold issue. Conniff Construction worked with us patiently while we went back and forth on design decisions. They installed all of the bathroom furniture, including vanity, mirror, and lighting. I felt extremely safe with having them work in my home alone, without supervision. They are safe and professional, and pose no risk from a safety or financial perspective. They are diligent and organized in their documentation, including their contract and estimates, and belong to multiple verified home owner's and builders associations in the state (as well as nationally). We felt very safe in their hands and we are confident we made the right decision in choosing them for our renovation. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a renovation or new build in the future.”
