“Forte Construction & Design started with remodeling my small bathroom, installing a new vanity, toilet, lighting fixtures, and porcelain tiles, etc., and they did such a great job I had them do my master bathroom remodel, whole house hardwood flooring, laundry room flooring and various other jobs. The Foreman and his crew started work promptly every day and were professional and courteous. Their work ethic was refreshing- no smoking breaks, no chit chatting, no checking their cell phones, just working! They cleaned up their work area at the end of each day and did top notch work. I was apprehensive to hire a contractor for these jobs because anyone can make you promises about what they're going to do and then when it comes time to do the job those promises are far from what transpires, but I was not disappointed with Forte Construction.... they actually did what they said they were going to do. The Project Manager was always available and responsive to my questions or concerns and frequently showed up to the job site to ensure that all work performed was to my satisfaction and listened to all concerns that I had and addressed/corrected them. Their pricing was reasonable and I feel I got my money's worth for the quality of work and attention to detail they provided. I have more projects in the future and will assuredly use them again!!!”

“Arlen Miller and his crew remodeled two bathrooms and our kitchen and did a superb job. Everything was removed including ceilings, fixtures, drywall, and in one room, a window was moved. Often he had to do some creative problem solving because of problems with our existing older home. He helped to maximize our space and storage. I was particularly pleased with the woodwork that was done including built in shelves, beadboard, crown molding etc. When I wasn't sure what would look best, Arlen would suggest various things and even bring in samples for me to see ahead of time. He'd send me links to pictures on houzz and other sites as well. After our home, Arlen did an extensive remodel on our daughter's circa 1900 home and its just gorgeous. The entire Miller Crew was clean, courteous, timely and honest. Their character and workmanship is sterling and I highly recommend them.”

“This is the fourth project I have hired Thibodeaux Contracting to complete and as usual they did an excellent job. This was a small repair job for a leaking bathtub but they quickly found and fixed the problem. Christen did a wonderful job fixing the drywall making it look like nothing had gone wrong. The first job they completed for me was finishing a basement and building a deck. The work was exceptional and every detail was done right. They are very reliable and easy to work with. “Guy Brannock is an excellent contractor. He is professional, highly experienced with custom construction, and has those rare intangibles: humility, sense of humor, eye for style, and so much more. We hired Guy to build a two story, custom cottage overlooking a large pond on our property. The site was located about 400 feet from our main home in a challenging spot. We did not want a permanent road to the site so Guy's crew had to minimize both the trees that were cut down, hand carry materials to the site when it was too muddy for vehicle access, and remove all signs that they had ever been there after the project was completed. Guy's planning and financial estimates were right on target despite many unique features, including a massive, two story wall of 9 custom-sized windows overlooking the pond, a complicated septic system requirement by the County (the guest home septic system had to be linked to the main home's drain field, which was uphill from the construction site), and a 2+ story custom stone fireplace. The schedule was very close to what he estimated as well (despite numerous, unpredictable winter weather delays, having to hand carry materials some weeks, and various other surprises that occur during custom construction). Guy handled everything with ease and kept us informed every step of the way. Guy scheduled many small inspections with the County throughout the project to ensure there were no issues at the end. Guy was open and honest about everything, involved us in every decision, and we enjoyed working with him. He keeps a detailed spreadsheet of every item, cost, and adjustment so everyone is on the same page at all times. We'll use Guy for every future construction project we envision for our property. He has the experience, personality, management skills, financial resources, network of subcontractors, intelligence, integrity, and passion that is so hard to find all in one contractor.
