Mike's expert building skills transformed this home from ordinary to extraordinary! We work with very high end finishes and materials, and Mike was the perfect fit for the installation and construction. Mike is always thinking ahead, and provides great input to our designs from a construction standpoint. He is very dependable, always adhering to schedule and budget, completing his excellent work, on time and under budget that is! Since completing this complete redo of a master suite, powder room and master bathroom, Mike and I have collaborated on several other projects for my clients. He is my go-to resource for remodeling. “I hired this company to do kitchen cabinet refacing based on the high recommendation of a neighbor who is a contractor and who worked for MRD Woodworking in the past. The owner came to my home and then invited me to his very well organized woodworking establishment in South Kingstown, RI. The shop was clean and I go got pick out the cabinet design. The in shop consultation was very helpful, as I could observe the quality of the products that would be used. I also had a special stain color that I wanted for my base cabinets and the company matched it perfectly. The crew was on time, neat, very polite, and personable. Communication with the owner was good, as was clean up by the crew at the end of the day. I was very pleased with the end result and really do now love my kitchen. I would highly recommend them.”

“Yankee remodeler was called to give a quote to find out how much a leak repair would cost. We had a contract to include taking off siding and to trace the leak. When one of the staff showed up and looked at the job he said it was not the siding but a pipe on the roof. They made the repair and worked great. Cost has 1/3 the original estimate. We had them come pack and repaint the ceiling where the leak had caused paint damage. Still less then the original estimate. They are coming back next month to replace the older windows in the house. I would HIGHLY recommend them.”

“Jamie is one of the best contractors I've worked with. First and foremost he is courteous and professional. He returns phonecalls promptly, shows up when he says he is going to (virtually unheard of!) and stays on schedule. His work is excellent and priced fairly. He has done a number of projects at our home including installing and refinishing hardwood floors, installing new windows, replacing sinks, countertops and installing garbage disposals. We've been thrilled with the results each time. He keeps us abreast of the progress by sending regular updates. Jamie does quality work and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their home or business in the greater Newport/surrounding Rhode Island area.”
