“William Honor did 4 large jobs for me. The best part about BluStar is they are 100% honest and do not play games with either your money or your time. That means a quality job without over-runs, and all expectations were met or excided. Billy did 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a large extension. Oh, and a deck. I know that sounds like a lot and it was, but I never had to sweat the details.”

“We are currently working with DDS on a significant exterior project that includes; roof, siding, masonry, and landscape design and we could not be happier with the services that are being provided! The attention to detail and professionalism is unparalleled. We have had several contractors provide us estimates and simply hand us a catalog to select materials with no guidance whatsoever. Edwin approached the project from an artistic point of view and was able to provide us with an image of what the house would look like upon completion which literally took all of the guess work out of the equation. Their team of contractors are very mild mannered and approachable and take the extra time each day to clean up and leave the work area spotless. “Hired this company for my kitchen renovation. Daniel was very easy to work with. What I liked the most is the communication that he and his team had with me. Literally every day I’d get a text from them, explaining what was completed today and what they will be doing tomorrow. “I hired ivory and oak to build a custom media wall unit, coffered ceilings, base and crown molding, hardwood flooring, and radiator covers for the living room. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. I really appreciated Nicole sending wood and stain samples to my home to help me make the right selection. “Carlos’ company just finished the third job for me in three months. You can’t beat the quality, prices, or professionalism of this company! The job was to replace the roof (removing the two layers that were there), replace the soffit, and fix the overhang over the doors. Carlos sent me photo updates every few hours! This was great because I couldn’t see much from any angle on the ground. With his photos I was able to see the old roof layers completely removed, that the plywood was in great shape, how the new roof looked with any venting coming through, etc. He completely rebuilt the overhang over the doors to pitch the roof so water won’t pool there anymore! Above and beyond! I hadn’t realized we would need the next door neighbors to move their vehicles (incase of any falling debris) and to rest the ladders in their driveway.. Carlos spoke to them and explained politely so they had no reservations. He cleaned up every piece of debris and screw/nail from their property and mine (used a magnet to be sure). I have recommended him to all my friends and family!”

“I highly and without reservation recommend Mr. Gregory Sforza of Done Right Remodeling for any home improvement job you may require. He is talented in a variety of home improvement specialties including carpentry, installations, and demonstrates a completely accurate interpretation of a customer's ideas for a given project. He maintains a list of professionals who perform jobs within related specialties including electricians, plumbers and painters, for example. His estimates are fair, and there are no hidden costs. If extra materials are required he discusses this beforehand with the customer as the need arises so you are well-aware and may consent or decline extra materials or labor. He and his coworkers clean up the work area at the end of each day and are never " no shows", which is a common issue with other contractors I used in the past. When you've hired Done Right Remodeling you've made an educated choice.”

Hur vet jag om en byggfirma i New York är bra?


Vad som gör ett byggföretag bra kan variera, mycket beroende på vilken typ av jobb de utför, och om de går i linje med vad man själv vill åstadkomma. Vårt tips är därför att söka efter en byggentreprenör i New York och börja med att titta på deras tidigare utförda projekt. - Kolla alltid på tidigare projekt! Redan då kan man ofta tydligt se om det handlar om ett företag som jobbar med sådant som du själv behöver hjälp med. På så sätt slipper du slösa tid och energi på ett byggföretag som inte alls ens jobbar med just det som ditt projekt går ut på. Tid är pengar, och här kan det sparas in rejält på det!

- Lita på omdömen! Har ett företag 5 dåliga omdömen men 1 bra? Då kanske det dessvärre är så att det inte är det mest pålitliga byggentreprenaden, så vårt råd är att lyssna på de lite sämre omdömena. Visst kan det handla om att just specifika kunder haft särskilda situationer, men om majoriteten är på ett visst sätt så brukar det ofta stämma, inte minst om företaget inte svarat på kritiken.

- Respektera byggföretaget! Som privatperson kan man lätt tycka att man har koll på hur saker och ting ska genomföras, men här får man faktiskt ta ett kliv åt sidan och lita på experterna. Det är trots allt därför man har anlitat någon, för att få riktigt bra hjälp med sin renovering eller sitt byggprojekt, och ta vara på det. Det finns säkerligen många andra saker du behöver oroa dig för om du ska bygga något, så fokusera på det du själv måste lösa istället. Sen ska man såklart alltid ställa kritiska frågor, men bara till en viss gräns.
