“I have worked with Marty through two large remodel/additions in older homes I have owned. The first was a bathroom and study addition in a 1920's house. When I sold the house nearly 15 years later, this was the single feature that everyone talked about who looked at the house. It looked brand-new because the quality of work was so high. The second project is a large remodel of my carriage house in an older brick home. The carriage house was in serious dis-repair and needed to be completely stripped down to the exterior walls and the garage floor re-poured. This required architectural and engineering design. Marty's contribution to the design process easily saved me $20K+ by considering how the spaces within the carriage house were going to be used. It was his creative thinking that brought about this re-design when neither the engineer or the architect considered these options. Plans were redrawn and the project moved along according to schedule but at considerable savings to me. Marty is very professional but personable, approachable and clearly enjoys his work. He keeps close track of sub-contractors and is readily available on the job-site. If not present, he is easily reachable and responds both thoughtfully and promptly. He has the obvious respect of his professional colleagues, enabling him to consistently complete projects within deadlines and often before-hand. His estimates are consistently on-point with no hidden or un-disclosed costs. He is a pleasure to work with and I would choose to work with him again on subsequent projects.”

Steve offered some great suggestions as to how to remove old soffits, enlarge and update existing doorways, and integrate an existing ceiling mural into the new design. He is also a master carpenter, and built a beautiful new mantel for our fireplace. They were prompt and on schedule as much as possible (there were delays receiving cabinets from another supplier beyond their control). They are also genuinely nice people, which is important when you have them in your home for extended periods! The finished project is top quality and we highly recommend the Grossi brothers. We will certainly call them for any future projects we do!”

“American Custom did a complete exterior remodeling...roof, siding, gutters and window. Extremely professional, experienced and quality materials. Work teams were all employees, not sub contractors (except for the gutter people), with many years of experience with the company. One window man was employed by them for over 26 years!
A major problem I had to have corrected was a sagging roof over the attached garage. They rebuilt that with new rafters and ridge, and it looks better and stronger than when it was new.

I liked the cedar shingles I had originally had for siding, but didn't want to do the maintenance on them anymore, so was surprised to find they had vinyl siding that looked just like my old shingles...color, size and random mounting! When Marc showed me that option, I was sold!
They were all prompt and cleaned up before they left every day. Communication with the workers and the office personnel was better than I could have expected.
In the past, I've always done my own remodeling work and have done work for others (including working for some contractors) as well. So, knowing what to expect and how to do the jobs, I was still amazed at the quality, professionalism and skill of their work.

“We went with a white and gray marble-style kitchen counter and just love it. Our kitchen is smaller without much room for restructuring, so while we wanted to upgrade, we didn't want to put too much money into marble or granite countertops. This option was great for us, it provided us with the look we wanted without the large cost that accompanies stone. The team was efficient and did a great job. We loved it so much, we have since contracted them to do our kitchen cabinets, two bathroom counters, and cabinets as well - we can't wait!”
