    “I contacted Robert H. Delafield, Inc. because I needed an enclosure built on our patio, that would let our three cats have a way to experience the outdoors but remain safe. I told Robert what I had in mind and asked if it was feasible. Not only did his carpenters build what I had envisioned, they exceeded everything I had hoped the enclosure would be. Their attention to detail and their workmanship is exquisite. The unit is built with framing on the east and north walls. The west and south walls of the house, serve as the other two sides of the unit. The French doors from the house open into the enclosure's south side along with a cat-door that was built into the house wall. The east wall has a door that leads out to the yard. A corrugated translucent roof allows light and protects from rain. The inside framing is covered with hardware cloth (a material the cats can't destroy or escape from). The outside framing holds aluminum frames for the heavy duty screening material, to keep the insects out. We are so proud of our "Catio" and the cats love it.”

    “Joseph Corlett is a very knowledgeable and truly friendly granite expert who helped fix my cracked granite issue before it became a real problem. I had minor cracks on either side of my cooktop, where the cutout in the granite makes a weak spot if not supported correctly. Because the granite was not broken completely through and was stable, I knew I needed to get support for it and repair the surface as soon as possible. After searching high and low online, I came across Joe's site and because it was impressively thorough I crossed my fingers and sent an email. He emailed me back very quickly with a complete description and step-by-step instructions on exactly what to do. I was amazed. Then he received the second email I wrote, which was a large group of photos of the two problem areas. He immediately wrote back again, told me to scrap the first email because this was a much easier fix than he originally thought. The granite is fixed to perfection and it absolutely not noticeable to the eye or to the touch. There is literally zero indication that a problem ever existed. I would have brought Joe here (he is in FL and I am in Boston) to fix it, had that been needed... and he would have been willing to do so. He is so good he was sent to Maryland once to help a client who wanted (and needed) the best expert in the granite business to fix a major problem before a grand opening. My sister, who lives only an hour from him in FL now has his info, as do all of her friends. One needs to share the name of excellent people, and ladies and gentlemen, Joseph Corlett is just that. Thanks so much for all of your help, Joe! I appreciate it more than you could possibly imagine.”

    “I am writing this unqualified recommendation on behalf of Mont Hartman, with whom my wife and I have worked closely over the past year on what became a major residential renovation project in Sarasota, FL. Mont Hartman assumed the role of Project Manager soon after we designed and contracted for what was then planned to be a limited condominium remodel. Mont brought himself “up to speed” quickly and then reached out to us to meet and refine our goals and the scope of our project. Throughout our renovation Mont was responsive, respectful and creative. His vision, team leadership, broad range of knowledge in all areas of our project (design, permitting, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, painting, electronics, etc.) and problem-solving skills were the critical factors that have led to a wonderful outcome with which we are very pleased. As is often the case, our project changed and expanded as we proceeded. Mont handled these modifications smoothly and efficiently and with good humor. Mont also needed to deal with some unusual additional challenges. The project was undertaken in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with resultant difficulties in coordination and supervision of subcontractors, supply chain disruptions and safety concerns. In addition, the bulk of this renovation was undertaken remotely, since our primary residence during this project was in NYC. Nevertheless, Mont was able to keep us well-informed and involved on all aspects of the project with his regular texts, detailed emails, pictures and FaceTime calls. We feel fortunate to have worked with Mont and his team. Their work ethic, experience, integrity, skills, maturity and advocacy are exceptional.     “What a wonderful experience working with Moty's Construction. I purchased my house a few years ago, knowing that I would soon need to upgrade some things, starting with the kitchen. I know very little about remodeling and construction, so I was really concerned about starting such a large project. I met with Joel in the evening for about 3 hours. He was knowledgeable, thorough, professional and immediately set me at ease. After we agreed on a price, which was very fair, they got to work. They completely tore out my old kitchen, leaving nothing but walls and concrete floors. After about two weeks they had completely rebuilt my kitchen with new floors, cabinets, granite counters, and back splash. Plus, painted, installed a new light, replaced my window sill, and did repairs that I don't think another contractor would have cared about. Joel, his father, and brother really treated my home like it was their own. I am truly grateful. I love my new kitchen and when I am ready to start another home project I won't do it with anyone but Moty's, they are skilled master craftsmen and a five-star company. I highly recommend them.”
