“Claudio Hortoneda, owner of B & S Home Improvement in Durham, NC is a gem! We have had him do two major jobs for us so far - the first involved drywalling over all of our ceilings after the "popcorn" texture had been scraped off, and the second involved a major remodel of our kitchen and two bathrooms, including moving walls, installing windows and a large quantity of tiling. Claudio has excellent subcontractors for the elements of the project that he does not do (e.g. the plumbing) but maintains a level of responsibility and care for the house that encompasses the entire project. He is very easy to communicate with, very reliable, and does excellent quality work. In addition to all of this, his prices are very competitive! I have already recommended him to three friends, two of whom have had him do work on their homes, and they were delighted with the results as well as the entire process. Strongly recommended!”

They cleaned up and let me use their magnet roller to pick up nails, which I really appreciated. I don’t think anyone could do that to please me! so it was a smart decision. “After interviewing several general contractors to do an extensive remodel of our 1950s ranch home designed by architect Sophie Piesse, we selected Larry and Susan from New Dimension Construction. The project began in Nov 2015 and was completed in the Spring of 2016. We tore out walls to make open spaces, completely redid the kitchen and bathroom, upgraded the electrical, plumbing, and insulation, added a new roof, windows, and walls, etc. Throughout the project, we knew what work would be completed each week, what decisions we needed to make, and where we were with the schedule. Susan and Larry were great at communicating regarding different choices and the cost for each. There were no price surprises on this job. The worksite was kept clean and neat which was important as we lived in part of the home during most of the renovation (except for when the HVAC and flooring was installed) using a temporary kitchen. The crew was a pleasure to have around. Larry was extremely knowledgable and brought great subcontractors to the job. As always during construction, we ran into some unexpected issues> Each time New Dimension Construction efficiently and expeditiously helped us find a good solution and move forward. We think the quality of the work is exceptional. There is nothing we would change about the project.”

“Noble Renovations built an addition to our property and did major renovations to the main part of the house. This was a large project lasting 4 months. It involved all of the major trades, framing, drywall, plumbing, electrics, HVAC, painting, flooring etc. Steve's attention to detail and professionalism were second to none. Also his project management skills are very good and everything ran to schedule. Some issues were encountered along the way but Steve was solution orientated and came up with options/solutions. Steve kept us informed of progress and plans for up coming work. I would have no hesitation in using Noble Renovations again and recommending them.”

“DDM came out to look at some problems on my deck and outside wall of the house where the deck was attached. Mr. Mondeau (owner) trouble shot the problem effectively and completely repaired and reinforced the deck where it attached to the wall as well as reinforcing the wall and made sure that the rain would drain more effectively to make sure the problem would not recur. The company also installed insulation in the attic, making sure that I got the desired results within my budget. I also used DDM when I wanted carpet/linoleum replaced with laminate flooring and Mr. Mondeau again made sure that I got a look I liked at a price I could afford. David Mondeau, owner of DDM, is very knowledgable and extremely professional. I am more than happy with his work and will gladly use is company in the future.”

“Awesome work, attention to detail was second to none and the project this team finished will be in my family for generations to come. I could not say enough good things about this company. The thing that was the best for us was the fact that they did exactly what they said they would do and if something changed for any reason we knew about it right away. At the end of the project the only complaint I had was the fact that I had nothing to complain about. I paid the remaining balance with a smile. Considering it was $12K lower than every other estimate we had received. They beat out atleast 4 other companies and delivered more in my opinion. They are a veteran owned company and most of the workers are veterans. They brought a vibe with them that was unspeakable. You could not put it into words. The best comparison I could give would be at a sporting event when they sing the national anthem and the entire place is silent then bursting with joy. Joy to be an American. They brought that joy every day they were on the job.”
