“As a interior designer I have worked with a lot of Gen Contractor’s over the last 30 plus years… They are definitely not all equal in the level of service they provide. Working with Armando and his crew of guys is an exceptional experience. They are capable to do absolutely anything, but what really makes them stand out for me is there overall attitude , he and all of his guys are always very pleasant, very professional, and I absolutely love working with them! It’s a rare find… To have the work come out great as well as really enjoying the process along the way.”

Gio personally came to our home to give a quote and to inspect the work at completion. It looks great and Gio kept us in the loop every step of the way. “Matt at MeMar is great. They did a complete remodel of our master bath and we love it. Neat, on time, and efficient. Matt was in constant contact, so we were well informed of progress and what to expect each day. Also had MeMar do a few smaller projects, carpet, outside wood trim, and vent install. “Chris is an unbelievable craftsman. He built me a library loft, based on nothing more than a hand drawn picture I took while sitting in my living room. The final product was better than I expected and continues to impress me years later. I included two pictures, the first of the built-in entertainment center and the second of the library loft. He also kept in contact with me during the entire build process and always notified me if he experienced specialty material delays. Thank you, Chris.”

“Our extraordinary custom home, designed and reconstructed by October 5 Fine Home Builders is undeniably a work of art. October 5 offers superior design and execution, where form and function converge. Ryan, the project superintendent, attends to every detail with an eye for quality and perfection. Their open-floor plan design blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, light abounds in every room, yet the space remains purposely private and intimate. Originally constructed in 1953, our home had not undergone any remodeling or updating. During construction, the house was all but demolished - leaving only the rough framing and portions of the exterior stucco and siding. Earthquake updates, 200 amp electrical service, beefed-up insulation, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning, smooth drywall, wide-plank flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, and dual-glazed windows supported the bulk of the project, which lasted 4 ½ months. With clean contemporary lines, the modern floor plan, great for entertaining, offers a celebrated life-style. What a beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy life! We say, “Call October 5 to celebrate your next project.””

“Re-insulate attic and provide storage area with ventilation. Removed old blown (and thin) insulation. Replace with high grade R30. Cover all with thick plywood. Nest all wiring in joists. Install attic stairs in hallway. Move hallway light. Paint attic door to match ceiling. Install attic fan through exterior stucco wall for ventilation, included thermostat and manual control. Install fan switch in hallway. All went well. We love our extra space. This was our second time using Eddie, Reggie and Alfonso. They come on time, do good work and are a pleasure to work with. They were done in a little over a week. After this job, we hired them again to re-roof our house and rebuild a fireplace (after a eucalyptus destroyed our family room). As expected, Eddie, Reggie and Alfonso were courteous, professional and hard-working. Their work is amazing and they are a pleasure to have around.”

“Saltair just finished our ADU garage conversion and we are very happy with the result. The experience with them was very good and communication was excellent. They were there throughout the project and guided us step by step in the process. Gal did the design and helped us a lot with the 3D visualization, which made the process much easier. Roei was very knowledgeable and polite, and he was on top of the project all the time. I highly recommend you to use the company Saltair Building and Design for your next project. They are professional, reliable, and creative.”
