They were hired by a restoration company to perform all of the repair, painting and and finish work required after a leaking pipe connection resulted in extensive water damage to our home. Remembering their good work, we hired Green Line for a remodeling project that included adding three bedrooms and upgrading a bathroom. The work was done quickly and professionally with excellent results. Remodeling is challenging for a number of reasons, requiring ingenuity and patience on the part of the construction company. Mark was a pleasure to work with as he always went above and beyond to work with us to limit the disruption of the project to our day-to-day life while also getting the work done. Mark checked in with us every day at least once to let us know how work was progressing, show us the work completed that day, and ask if we had any questions or concerns. He is friendly and easy to work with, even going out of his way to help keep our children happy and safe when he needed to talk to us or show us the progress that was being made. We first contacted Lion Construction in November of 2014 with regard to a bathroom and laundry room remodel and broke ground on construction April 2015. Work was complete by the middle of May (~6 weeks). Over the course of these 5 months leading up to when we started work, we met with Mark and his subcontractors several times to define the scope of the project. Mark and his experienced team of subcontractors helped us take our general vision for the project, refine it and fill in the details, and ultimately make our vision a reality. Throughout the project we found the advice from Mark and his team to be valuable to help drive our decisions on specific materials, colors, and adherence to a loose theme that helped the end results turn out fantastic. Mark's team was able to help put us in contact with helpful other groups to work through particular details on such things as plumbing design and finishes, paint colors, tile, and fixtures for the room. As challenges were encountered along the way, Mark and his team helped work through them. They were knowledgeable with current building codes, allowing us to bring our plumbing and electrical installations up to code and pass inspection in order to properly permit the work being done. The bid included the costs for the entire project except for tile, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, vanity/sink, mirror, hardware, windows, the shower door, and paint. At the end of the project, the change orders amounted to 14% of the total cost of the project from start to finish including the materials we purchased. The unforeseen elements which increased the total cost of the project were incorrect existing wiring and plumbing, electrical troubleshooting and permitting of our existing electrical panel. Overall, we are thrilled with the results of our bathroom remodel! We appreciate all of their hard work to see it through to the end. Mark stands by his work completely and has taken good care of us at every turn. The positive impact to our day-to-day life at home as a result of our fantastic bathroom and laundry room cannot be understated and we're glad to have had Mark work with us to make it a reality! One year later: one positive experience from a year after our project was done: a small crack formed in our shower grout (probably just random and not related to any installation error) I called Mark to find out about how to fix It and he had his tile subcontractor out to our house within 24 hours to fix it at no charge (the fix only took about 5 minutes for a professional). We continue to be very satisfied customers”
