“We hired Brad for two projects: a free-standing 2.5 bay garage and to finish our basement of approximately 800 square feet.
The garage was built strong and sturdy, and matched the style of the home as requested. We especially like the small dormer built in the front. It gave the garage a little character, and matched the home across the driveway. I appreciate the loft space above the garage doors: perfect for storing patio furniture and the second sets of tires for the cars. No more scraping for us!
The finished basement added a ton of living space to our home. Brad's recommendation of a drop panel ceiling was a good one. It's very convenient to have access to the plumbing and wiring above the panels. Plus, they look great! Our guests love the cozy little bedroom in the basement. I love my theatre space, with lots of room for a widescreen TV and sound surround speakers. Between the big windows and quality of finish of the work, this doesn't feel like a basement anymore.

“Max Peterson (Smith & Sons Remodeling Experts), was called in to complete a couple of challenging renovation projects at Klub Kal. The first task was to design and build a sound barrier around a hydro transformer kiosk. I was so satisfied with this job that I brought Max back to take his best shot at another design and construction challenge. My next requests were to complete a few finishing touches at my lakeside cabin, as well as complete an unfinished, rustic outdoor bathroom. Max approached the partially completed bathroom with a creative mind and was able to bring my vision to reality. The jobs were completed on time, on budget, with quality workmanship and all the while maintaining the creative design intent. The renovation projects were finished beyond my expectations. Max was great to work with and I would recommend him for construction jobs in the future.”

“We were very lucky to have Dan and Sandy Beggs of Paradigm Okanagan Developments, act as General Contractors in the construction of our new home in Summerland, BC. at the end of 2014. From our first meeting with them it was very apparent that they were very knowledgeable about the home construction industry. They gave us examples of their prior jobs so that we were able to see first hand the quality of their work. They were very well organized, and dealt efficiently with getting required permits, insurance, etc. as well as dealing with all the tradesmen, which enabled them to meet required deadlines. As a result, we were able to take possession in a timely manner. They had some excellent design and finishing ideas which helped a great deal in giving the finished product such a good and functional appearance. As well, they presented a realistic budget figure and did their best to meet the various allocations. We are very pleased with our new home, and would not hesitate to recommend Paradigm Okanagan Developments to anyone looking to build a new home.”

Our project was initially to address a small leak and cracked tub in the basement bathroom, but we quickly realized we’d need to tackle both upstairs and down. The renovations included replacing a bathtub, a shower tub, 2 new toilets, tiling and more. Chris was responsive and easy to get ahold of. The plumber and electrician on the project were excellent. The whole project only took a few weeks and Chris scheduled the work in order to make the downstairs bathroom available early on. We very much appreciate the professional effort.”
