“Had major water damage from a plumbing issue. It was difficult to find a contract that wanted to come out and give an estimate. A coworker of mine had recommended Ted Nelson and his company. I gave him a call and he came out to survey the situation and give us an estimate. Having talked with a couple of other contractors, I felt very comfortable with the Nelson company. They were very professional, they showed up on time every time they said they would be coming out. They were efficient and cleaned up their mess at the end of the day every time they came out. .They did quality work, and we would Not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to have work done on their home. “Jamie is one of the best contractors I've worked with. First and foremost he is courteous and professional. He returns phonecalls promptly, shows up when he says he is going to (virtually unheard of!) and stays on schedule. His work is excellent and priced fairly. He has done a number of projects at our home including installing and refinishing hardwood floors, installing new windows, replacing sinks, countertops and installing garbage disposals. We've been thrilled with the results each time. He keeps us abreast of the progress by sending regular updates. Jamie does quality work and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their home or business in the greater Newport/surrounding Rhode Island area.”
