Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly.
Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves.
Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”

“Matt was recommended to us by a friend for a bathroom remodel that we were looking into. We had a small outdated shower that was built with the house, and wanted to replace it with a tiled shower that gave us more room and improved the look of our smallish master bathroom. We had 3 companies come out and give us estimates. Matt made us feel the most at ease and was very receptive to our budget, allowing us to make decisions based on how much the individual items would cost, and how esthetically pleasing they were. He completed the project quite fast and asked our opinion at every step. The only delay was the glass shower door - but Matt switched suppliers after the original supplier gave him too long of a lead time. He listened well and showed up on time. I wish I had before photos but they weren't worth looking at anyway! The bathroom is too small to get a wide angle of the shower but I included some details. He worked with local companies and we had the opportunity to go in and select our fixtures, tile choices, and granite pieces. We learned a lot in the process and love our new shower (especially including the pebble floor - that was a necessary for me!) He also just completed a basement remodel with wall knockout, and we brought him on to do our french doors in the living room!”

“I hired Adams + Beasley to build a built-in dining area off my kitchen (with seating and storage) and a built-in bench off of my entryway. They were incredibly pleasant and professional to work with. Their work was efficient, they were respectful of my home and keeping the jobsite clean and they met every timeline. They problem solved, were creative and their craftsmanship was superior. They were fitting both built-ins into a pre-existing architectural design scheme. What they came up with was a seemless transition in terms of detail and design work. The quality of their work is the best I've seen and I have been in the high end interior design business for 14 years. I was also very impressed with the quality and professionalism of their subs.
