“Rob and his entire team are extremely professional and knowledgable. My husband and I purchased a home that Rob was building that was about 90% complete but we could already tell from the quality and beauty of the work that it would be perfect when complete. Not only did Rob meet all deadlines but made sure we were in our home just in time for our first child to arrive. While the house has long been completed we still call Rob for any small project we have in mind and he is always very responsive and does the best job.”

“I bought a modular house through Westchester Modular in 2015. They demolished the existing house and put up a new colonial-style, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom modular house that is 2000 sq. ft in size. In general, they were easy to work with and had reasonable number of options in terms of materials and colors to choose from. I didn't have a lot of special requests because this was planned as a rental property. In summary, the project went well and house was delivered in about 9 months from start to finish (including time for design, blueprints, permits, etc.) What I didn't like was that the interior of garage was not finished (not painted or primed) and thought it would have been. On the plus side, Liz and Patrick from the project delivery team were a delight to work with. They kept the project moving at a quick pace and provided frequent communication to inform me of what was going on. One of my biggest concerns from the beginning was there would be lots of unexpected hiccups that would cause the price to swell up. I am happy to report that the price increased very little from the original quote and any increases were very reasonable due to my requests for changes such as additional lighting or outlets.”

“I had interviewed 10 contractors prior to hiring JAL construction. I was in an area that was hit hard with Super Storm Sandy and Jal Construction had just completed a home around the block from me. I asked the homeowner what his experience was and he had nothing but raving comments. I had two homes to complete because my mom was hard hit as well. So after my mom's architecture plans for her new home was complete I had John come over and give me an estimate. John was very fair in his estimate and the quality of his product was much better than the other contractors. For instance he used solid wood interior doors and Pella professional series where everyone else was using Anderson 100 series and hollow doors. John was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process constantly checking in to make sure everything was as we wanted. I also liked the fact that he would do one home at a time which made the process much quicker. I was so impressed by the quality and workmanship that I hired John and Jal Construction to do my house as well and I was equally impressed”

They finished my entire lower level, added a wrap around deck, a three season porch, renovated two bathrooms, and designed and installed custom entry stairs. The craftsmanship by Olson Development was extremely high quality. The company workers were respectful, communicative, and honest. The job site was always well managed, neat and safe. It is rare to encounter a company that embodies great integrity, great talent and a business acumen that puts you at ease from start to finish during your construction project. “Christian and team did a stick build addition to my home. We had some unexpected complications to my project however his team dealt with the issues as quickly and as efficiently as possible. All contractors utilized were pleasant, professional and very eager to please. His project management staff were all customer centric and a pleasure to deal with. They were *very* mindful on budget management and came in well under which was greatly appreciated. Christian is a true gentleman to deal with, eager to please and stands behind his product.”

“I highly recommend this company for any handyman help or major construction. They are reliable, do great work, and keep the place relatively clean when doing the work. Once I had a flood in my basement which they had nothing to do with but I needed help. I spoke to the owner and he left his Saturday night dinner at a restaurant to come help me. I think that says it all.”

“JBC did a complete house renovation for me in 2017. I was still living on Long Island and the house was in Westchester. Barry Cohen was always attentive to the project, my requests and would call or email me when there were issues or decisions to be made. I would check on the project weekly but Barry was in charge. He was on site regularly and supervised all aspects of the project from bathroom to kitchen renovation to roof replacement and painting. It took many months but we’ll worth the effort. I had interviewed 3 contractors prior to project initiation and Barry was the only one to actually give me a complete proposal for work to be completed. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and would recommend JBC without hesitation”
