“Paul Nalley Sr and Residential Builders built our 2000 sq ft modular rancher. We began the process in March 2014 and completed the home in December 2014. Paul was professional, technically competent, patient, thorough, reliable and everything we could hope him to be. He hired good subcontractors, he was(and is ) responsive to calls, deadlines and our concerns. We worked with an agency called Second Chance, to who we donated our old house for deconstruction and Paul was totally cooperative with them and their schedule. The work of our home is beautiful. Paul gives his honest opinion; when we asked about concrete slab vs basement, he said basement and was so right. He advised us on driveway, the height of ceilings, lots o things and while he would give his opinion when asked, he never pushed or complained when we did something else. This may seem unreal, as our recommendation is so positive, but it is all true. He is now our friend.”

“Mike was our construction manager during our house teardown and rebuild from 2009-2010. Mike said it would only take one year and he delivered! Mike provided excellent contractors for us to choose from and the only time we had issues was when we didn’t follow his advice. Mike is very experienced and had all the right answers to the difficult questions. Mike was more than fair, dependable and respectful of our time. Hiring Mike as our construction manager as opposed to our general contractor meant that we were responsible for negotiating the contracts with the various sub-contractors that Mike supplied. This is the way we wanted it and it worked really well because Mike was with us every step of the way. His advice was priceless. We have been in our house 5.5 years and have had no issues. The ultimate compliment that one can give to a builder is that you would use them again. We would definitely hire Mike again and could not recommend him more highly.”

“Riley Custom Homes built our custom home and incorporated a level of professionalism, integrity and courtesy throughout the entire process, from contract negotiations and construction to establishing an ongoing relationship based upon mutual respect and friendship. Their contract provided full disclosure of all costs. We met every other week, at our time preference, on the job site to discuss progress and upcoming agenda items. Owner, John Riley hires top-rate workers and has superb working relationships with reliable subcontractors. We would highly recommend Riley Custom Homes for a custom home or renovation.”

“"Open-book" contractor, proving high-quality results and creative solutions to the challenges of new home construction. We retained Kevin and his team to demolish a waterfront cottage and rebuild on the same footprint as required by county building restrictions. Kevin worked with us through the permitting process to ensure building and environmental requirements were met. We obtained our plan from the Internet before finding Kevin and were not using an architect for the project. From our first meeting, Kevin was sensitive to our budget needs and provided insightful design suggestions to enhance our project. Kevin has been a pleasure to work with. The open-book contract has made it easy to evaluate the many decision trade offs of the new construction process, and keep us on budget.”
