“KC Custom Homes recently completed our dream home in Cordova on Canyon Lake. Our experience from initial contact with Ken Castro and his sons to visualizing our dreams with Rudy, the amazing home designer, were superior to all the custom home stories I had heard. The foundation was poured at the start of June and we moved in at the end of December. Our project manager - Jaime- worked from day 1 to stay on top of the build and ensure each step was done well. The entire process was a positive one and we believe much of that starts with the vision and work ethic of KC Custom Homes and those who work for this company. “I purchased a Home from Curry Creek Homes in September of 2016. I was getting ready to purchase a different home in the neighborhood and as I was driving around Gillbert ‘s home caught me eye. The design from the outside was very appealing, but as soon as I went inside, I was sold. His detail to craftsmanship and layout was great. From the 9’ ceilings and over sized molding, I was sold. This is my forth home I have bought and my second new one. By far the after the sale service you will never beat. Gillbert always answers the phone if there is any question or needs. His subcontractors are there when he says, you can tell he has a good relationship with them. Over and above I highly recommend Curry Creek Homes to be your builder, I promise you will not be disappointed!! Kenny”

“After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. “What started with moving furniture and noticing a soft spot in the carpet along the edge of an outside wall and a water spot suddenly appearing in the ceiling above it with San Antonio’s heavy rains of Sept 2018 started our journey with DMJ Restorations. Sam Hoffman was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us through the insurance process and, because of his efforts, we actually received more money than we might have received otherwise. We learned a lot along the course. We have been so pleased with their entire team for a multitude of tasks they did for us – roofing, demolition, construction, sheetrock, painting and carpet installation. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they were going to do (and then some), and cleaned up extremely well after themselves. All while respecting our home and its contents. They paid attention to all of the little details, some we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish. Would we recommend them to others? YOU BET and without hesitation!”

“Nathan Murphey was the Project Manager overseeing the construction of our new custom home in Anaqua Springs Ranch completed in 2016. Nathan was professional, and we developed a good working relationship right away. Nathan followed through on his commitments and accommodated our schedule whenever we needed to meet. His attention to detail was extraordinary, and he corrected most issues before we ever noticed them. Nathan is extremely creative, and he was able to provide cost effective solutions to avoid expensive change orders. Nathan maintained a very good and trusting relationship with his sub-contractors, and he was able to get things scheduled on a time. We were very impressed with the quality of construction as well as Nathan’s meticulous attention to detail. “When my husband and I decided to relocate to Texas we didn't have any builder, real estate agent or location in mind. The general want list was someplace where there were trees and space around any home we bought. We dropped into a real estate office in Canyon Lake and met a agent that agreed on the spot to take us out looking at homes. On our second day of looking we found our home in Canyon Lake. It was open concept, high ceilings, large rooms and a well thought out floor plan. We made an offer and requested some input into the finishes of the house. Our offer was accepted and we met Tom Lander soon after. He worked with us as far as finishes and counter tops and lighting. Tom was never anything but fair and supportive. Tom soon realized what we liked and went back and forth with pictures and ideas. He was so easy to work with and was never out of touch. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a conscientious, honest, fair builder.”
