“I am happy to provide a review for the team at Lumara Homes, who did a full gut and renovation for our older home in Forest Hill, Ontario. I must say, this was an impressive project, and the team did an amazing job from start to finish. First, let me start with the design process. They provided in-house design services, which included 3D renderings, drawings, and obtaining the necessary city permits. This made the design and planning process very smooth and efficient. The team was very professional, and they took into consideration our ideas and preferences to create a design that suited our tastes and needs. The renovation was a full gut job, and the crew ensured that everything was done to the highest standard. The guys were very efficient and worked tirelessly to ensure that the project was completed on time. They were also very friendly and pleasant to work with. In fact, they were so easy to work with that we now feel like family! The finished product was absolutely stunning. The luxury finishes added an extra touch of elegance to the home, and it now feels like a brand new property. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the craftsmanship was of the highest quality. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome. “We really enjoyed working with Aaron and Justin of Home Guru Inc. on our kitchen renovation and are thrilled with the results! They helped us to make our space more open, modern and functional. They listened to what we wanted and helped us work out the details of how to get there. As with any renovation, especially one where you are opening up and taking down walls, there were some surprises and setbacks, but Aaron and Justin worked diligently to help us attain our goals and try to stay within our budget. The thing we appreciated most about Home Guru was that we felt they were trustworthy and were always trying to do things in our best interest. We were never worried that they were trying to rip us off, cut corners, or give us the run around. They were reachable and easy to communicate with. One of their areas of expertise is in "smart" home automation, which we decided to incorporate into our reno. We adore the programmed lighting that adds to the mood of our space. Our favourite elements would be the in-ceiling speakers that we've added to the kitchen, living room, bedroom and backyard. We can now play or stream music all over house depending on our location and mood. Music is a big part of our lives and has become a part of our children's lives as well. Our new open-concept kitchen has improved the flow of our house and the overall feeling of the space. The kitchen looks beautiful and the cabinets and countertops are of high quality. “On behalf of my parents and our family, we want to say thank you to Ridgestone Homes and their team for turning my parent’s home that was once full of barriers, into something they can finally relax and enjoy. My elderly parents purchased a bungalow in the hopes they could relax and retire into. Quickly we found the home was not able to meet their needs. After searching through multiple qualified contractors, we came across Ridgestone Homes. Ernesto was fantastic! He was beyond patient with my parents and took the time to go over each and every step!
