“Steve Tilton and the team at Coastal Signature Homes built us a beautiful Low Country home in Okatie SC. Steve really understands the Low Country style and provided a lot of design advice as well as interior design suggestions. His attention to construction detail and quality of materials from butt board walls, moldings, reclaimed pine floors to the exterior features was excellent. Customer service was great through the construction phase, (done long distance) and even after close for the inevitable punch list.”

“My husband and I just finished building a custom house on Broad Creek. Our contractor was H2. This is the 3rd home I have build and the 6th home that I have purchased. I have never had such a wonderful experience. I found H2 organized, efficient, honest, and focused on customer satisfaction. This attitude is prevalent throughout the entire staff. My project manager Geoff did a wonderful job. I really appreciated his calm, collected approach to any problems that came up. Drama free is a good thing when you are building a home. H2 also provides the service of J.Banks an extremely talented design firm in HHI as a design consultant. This was a wonderful service. The experience and creativity of Sharon from J Banks helped us pull together the exact look we wanted. I would recommend H2 to anyone building a custom home.”

“Mike Thorpe, CGBS Residential, built our house to our satisfaction. Mike had two additional challenges confronting the project: he built a brand new house on an empty lot in the city's historical district which required numerous presentations before the historic board as well as numerous modifications to comply with their requests. Additionally Mike had to work with us from afar since we were 1200 miles from the project. Mike was calm and steady as he guided us through the process. He was able to alleviate any concerns we had.”

“I hired this company to enlarge/rebuild the deck on our villa in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island. The owner did what he said he would do and finished on time (accommodating a rental guests check in date) for the quoted price. When, after completion, our homeowner association asked him to repaint the deck railing to conform to the rest of the development he took care of their requests. We are very pleased with our new deck.”

“Excellent experience overall. The builder and his associates were very professional and listened to each of our needs. Our project was priced carefully based specifically on our custom wish list. The builder/owner hit the nail on the head with our spend and was very transparent about each of our costs. He even offered options along the way during the build that ultimately resulted in savings and funds we were able to utilize elsewhere. In meeting with other competing builders we found the offering of lower prices on the front end was commonplace in order to get jobs. Those builder's numbers were unrealistic based on our research. This was a key reason we went with Southern Coastal Homes. We wanted to know a true cost and felt this builder was quite straightforward. We would definitely build with this company again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking for a custom home and custom experience.”
