“We hired Saltsman Brenzel to build a new house on the site of a demolished house. We had completed 2 construction projects in the past, with different companies, and our experience with SB was superior in every way. The design of the house is sensitive to the neighborhood and the site, while incorporating our requests. The design/build aspect was seamless, from permitting all the way through to finish work. The budget was kept track of with regular meetings & weekly spread sheets. I would highly recommend SB for a productive, low-stress, and enjoyable construction experience.”

They expertly lead us through a massive, 10-month renovation and addition project... pretty much the only thing remaining intact of our old house was the living room floor! This was a complicated, difficult project where we were dealing with conservation land issues, septic issues, old-house-meets-new-house issues, and the myriad other issues one can expect during a large renovation/addition project. Hawthorn continually gave excellent advice, supported our decisions and worked hard to resolve each and every new challenge. They are extremely knowledgeable, keep an excellent team of subs at their fingertips and are professional in all aspects. And on top of all that, their work is outstanding. The project spanned several months, and Russ was with us from the very first zoning board meeting to the prompt completion of the final punch list item. After all that time, we can distill our experience working with Russ Busa and Sterling Homes down to two words: Russ cares. Russ cares about respecting the budget he has provided. “Mike and his crew are great. He is very responsive, and will make sure that you have an end product you are satisfied with. He installed a master bath in our new house's third floor, in what previous contractors had said would be "impossible" or overly difficult due to the sloped attic roof. The results are phenomenal, and we were able to select every element we wished, from fixtures, tile, tile placement, trim, and details, such as edging and baseboards. The crew was kind, flexible, and moreover, they are polite and easy to be around, which is vital if one works from home. Mike replies promptly to texts, and always calls or stops by when something isn't clear. We stayed firmly within budget, completed the job for an extremely reasonable price, and his contractors detected and fixed leaks caused by the work of a local contractor we had previously hired--we will always be grateful for that. When we didn't like an element or noticed mistakes, we told him, and it was no problem and it got fixed, even if creative problem-solving was needed. We would recommend ByHome without hesitation to anyone.”

“Working with Copper Leaf Development over that past 5 years has been both enjoyable and enthusiastic. As a designer at Tiles Plus More with 30 years of kitchen and bath designing under my belt I have never worked with a more "likable" guy. All David's homes have exceptional craftsmanship and are not your cookie-cutter home. The Metro-West area has been booming with remodels and new home builds. Copper Leaf blows away his competition with extras and and healthy allowances. His team is well organized and fun to work with. I am looking forward to future projects.”
