“Laurie Ghielmetti has not only taught me piano (in her earlier life), but has been my interior designer for many years! She has worked with me in a number of homes, and has been terrific across the board. She has a very wide knowledge of a range of designs and knows just where to get things, who provides the best guarantees and service, and then she stands by to make sure everyone comes as and when expected and and is satisfactory to me in my home and in use. She's also a wonderful person to spend time with. And, by the way, her long time sidekick Kelley Matusiak is also terrific!”

From a custom media cabinet and end tables handcrafted out of reclaimed doug fir, reclaimed teak dressers, to a reclaimed white oak dining room table and bed frame. “We worked with Natalia on a major home remodel -- full kitchen and 3 bathrooms. I was a blank slate and while I knew what I didn't like, I didn't have an exact vision of what I wanted. Natalia was invaluable and made what was an overwhelming process, easy and painless. After meeting with us and asking many questions, she had a feel for our style. When it came time to choose tiles, paint colors, countertops, fixtures, she "went shopping" first and then brought us 2 or 3 options from which to choose, and they were spot on. She has a fabulous eye and we absolutely love our kitchen and bathrooms. We continue to work with her on other household projects. Natalia is a true professional, and fun to work with. I can't say enough great things about her, except I'd hire her again and again!”

“In preparation for retirement, we moved to San Diego from Salt Lake City. Leaving a two story, six bedroom suburban home and coming into a three bedroom beach house, we quickly discovered we had too much of the wrong kind of furniture. Wanting to start from scratch, we sold all of it, leaving only the vitally necessary pieces we needed to live. We bought a beach house built in the mid 50’s, which we wanted to update but leave in its original mid-century modern style. We knew what we liked, but had trouble envisioning it in our home. We sought out designers and were referred to Corine. She met with us and we quickly became comfortable with her style ideas and background, but it was her upbeat enthusiasm and energy that sold us on hiring her. Corine specializes in Coastal themes, and was able to give us plans that were unique and innovative yet kept us with a comfortable beach house which, we feel, matches the community in which we live. As we work our way through the house, we continue to be pleased with her designs. “I absolutely loved working with Laura during our house renovation - she helped make our house into our dream home! Laura’s expertise, creativity, and sense of style have been invaluable through the entire design and selection process. She carefully listens to her clients and helps with the whole process from design to the finishing touches. Laura has a wonderful eye for detail and color. She pays close attention to the big picture as well as to every little detail. She was instrumental in every step of our remodel - from helping with the layout, creating the CAD drawings for permits, recommending vetted contractors and vendors with whom she has great relationships, to helping with design ideas and choosing the right materials. We couldn’t be happier with the final results! Laura is truly a talented designer and wonderful to work with.
