“We have been delighted with RMD, with their designs and the transformations of a house into our home. We had originally created the floor space but struggled with how to finish it to realise its full potential and create a home that was right for us. RMD suggested themes, textures and colours that we would never have considered ourselves but that we really love. Presenting a number of options to better understand our preferences was a great part of the process – even merging some themes to get to the best result for us. It was a collaborative process throughout and once the team got to know us, the designs for further rooms were straightforward. RMD have achieved a warm and comfortable style balanced with practicality, flow and best use of space. We could not be happier. We would highly recommend Rachel and her team at RMD and will of course be using them again (very soon!)”

“We have used Fiona Watkins on a number of our projects, but our development of 'Larchwood', as a new build contemporary home, was the largest of these assignments. Fiona delivered a full service interior design, including but limited to: decor, finishings, kitchen, bathrooms, lighting and furniture. We truly believe that this fabulous, high value home would not have turned out as well as it did, without Fiona's design management. Fiona is not only an exceptional interior designer but her personable approach both with us and the contractor's on site made it so much more an enjoyable experience. Her services were also extended to the procurement of a variety of fixtures and finishings, including the kitchen and bathroom. She was able to negotiate some terrific deals and made considerable cost savings to the project. We would highly recommend Fiona to anyone wishing to appoint a talented Interior Designer. “I would highly recommend Kate . She is extremely professional, highly reliable , friendly and creative . We have studio flats that needed designing from scratch in order to rent via Airbnb . Although Kate hadn’t had experience of this type of job previously, she took the time to research the competition and the demographic needs ,as well as listened to our wishes and needs for the property. Kate has provided us with mood boards and colours to complete our studios . She has also given us suggestions of where to source products to furnish the rooms. Without Kates help we were struggling to visualise our completed studios but now with Kates both practical and creative input we can can move forward and complete our project . I would not hesitate to employ Kate again in the future as she has far exceeded my expectations.”

“I commissioned andrea for a redesign of my remedial massage room, Struggling for inspiration on the project I called andrea who attended prudently to all of my requirements and presented a selection of ideas, before arriving at a beatiful and functional result. I now have more bookings, and clients always compliment the decor. I am delighted with the final product, and cannot reccomend windle decor enough. What a tremendous job andrea has done!”

Jan and Nicky are excellent at making recommendations to meet the brief which empathise with the period of your house. and the use of the room. In our case, we like traditional with a twist of contemporary, with a dog thrown in. I would recommend them if you are looking for the highest quality design and an individual service. Penny Baxter”

“Excellent and innovative design service. We were having a fairly standard single-story extension built by local trades and Northern Backdrop provided a full detailed design service including 3D rendering to help to visualise the end result, transforming the build into something highly original with bespoke finishes. The company worked at a detailed, professional level with ourselves, our architect and builders providing detailed specifications and requirements for bespoke materials. Throughout the project, Vinny kept us informed with his ideas and vision, providing material samples for our approval and coming up with tremendous ideas for solving problems or issues as they arose. Overall a very satisfying and rewarding working relationship. Thanks Vinny!”

“The Interiors Shop is doing an incredible job. Ros came to view the project, listened to my thoughts and then came up with a mood board, which was spot on. The progress and results are looking amazing. Ros is approachable, practical and full of inspirational interior ideas, that work. Ros has been available throughout the process, if needed and is working to my budget as well as being mindful to up-cycle, recycle and repurpose certain existing pieces of furniture. I couldn’t be more pleased and would recommend The Interiors Shop to anyone who is thinking of refreshing a room or the whole house.”
