“My husband and I bought a new home in a new state. It was more sqft than we had ever thought we would own. After the purchase was complete we hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel and we realized there was more to be done to the house than we had originally thought and though I had an idea of what I wanted I was feeling major decision fatigue. That's when I called Andrea. She was an absolute life saver. She asked for samples of what we were sure of, asked to be linked to my pinterest boards and we had a quick meeting to go over the things I was stuck on. Our next meeting she not only picked out the 4 things (the whole house paint color, a bedroom paint color, first floor flooring & backsplash) I had asked her to but she also walked me through other pieces that we hadn't thought of like lighting fixtures, hardware for the kitchen, a kitchen faucet, a sink and stain for the wood banister that would help complete the look we were going for. She supported my color choice and want for very bold kitchen cabinet colors and picked a backsplash and flooring that paired incredibly well. She talked out every concern with me and was a gentle guiding hand as we discussed where and how to carry the theme through the house. We hadn't discussed countertops too much but when it came time to pick those for my kitchen she was there for me to talk to and again gently guided me to tops that worked perfectly with the aesthetic. I do not know what I would have done without her help. And she did it all without having been inside the new house!! We hope to use her again when we can afford to a bathroom remodel! I would recommend Authentik Home to anyone looking to refresh or remodel their space.”

After Covid hit, sitting in my badly decorated and poorly lit house for months was truly getting the best of me. “We found International Custom Design about 6 years ago from the internet when we remodeled our master bath. We started looking for a designer because we could not decide on tile type, color or layout and shopping in a tile showroom was overwhelming with hundreds of choices and patterns. Finding Intl. Custom Design was the best move we made. After the initial meeting, tile samples and colors were brought to us to choose from as well as photos of fixtures (lighting, faucets, cabinets, knobs, etc.). This alone saved so much time for us! Very detail oriented, budget conscious and always available to discuss details with our contractor. We can’t be happier with the end result, it turned out nicer than we could have done on our own. Since then they designed another bathroom for us and just recently the tiling of our foyer. We even ordered window coverings through them! We have recommended Intl. Custom Design to everyone we know who is considering a remodel. “Christina did an amazing job in our 2 living areas! After giving her some of my style ideas she took it and ran with it, and was able to incorporate every essential piece I wanted. We started out just decorating one room, but we loved it so much that we had to get the room next to it done as well! Even when we were indecisive and I told her to her decide for us, I was happy with her choices, color schemes, furniture placement, and all the little details she picked out. All the pieces look expensive and she really stretched the budget and made it work, down to the last penny. I really like that she's doesn't just shop at one particular store but she shops at a variety of places both expensive and inexpensive and brings the vision together. Looking forward to doing some additional rooms in the house later on. We love her work!”
