“Laurie Ghielmetti has not only taught me piano (in her earlier life), but has been my interior designer for many years! She has worked with me in a number of homes, and has been terrific across the board. She has a very wide knowledge of a range of designs and knows just where to get things, who provides the best guarantees and service, and then she stands by to make sure everyone comes as and when expected and and is satisfactory to me in my home and in use. She's also a wonderful person to spend time with. And, by the way, her long time sidekick Kelley Matusiak is also terrific!”

“I have worked with Vicki and trusted her judgment on many projects for my home. She is easy to work with and I have been very pleased with her work. Friends and family are so impressed with things Vicki has done for me . She seems to just have such an eye for knowing what is needed to make living space easier to live and function in. Vicki sees things and has ideas that I would never think of. And she does this with a very limited budget that I sometimes have. She is easy to work with and very up front with what she is able to do with the money I have to spend. That really reduces the stress that can can come with a project. I know when I work with Vicki on a project that she will be honest with me about scheduling, stay in budget, and see the project through. Laura’s expertise, creativity, and sense of style have been invaluable through the entire design and selection process. She carefully listens to her clients and helps with the whole process from design to the finishing touches. Laura has a wonderful eye for detail and color. She pays close attention to the big picture as well as to every little detail. She was instrumental in every step of our remodel - from helping with the layout, creating the CAD drawings for permits, recommending vetted contractors and vendors with whom she has great relationships, to helping with design ideas and choosing the right materials. “Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”
