“Sara helped me with my kitchen refresh and I couldn't be happier. I had a quartzite slab picked out that I was in love with and she helped me select colors for my walls and cabinets, and pick a backsplash that coordinated with the counters. I had originally been leaning towards just a simple white subway tile backsplash, but after talking to Sara, I realized that my kitchen layout would be better suited for a more geometric shaped backsplash because there were already so many long horizontal lines. I never would have thought of something like that without Sara. Sara also patiently answered about 65 photo text messages and emails from me and she pulled together a spot on mood board which gave me great direction for some small improvements I want to do in the kitchen in the future (like light fixtures and a new table). I am so in love with my kitchen and really loved working with Sara at Bandd Design!”

“I used Brooklinteriors to design a nursery. I was looking for something contemporary that could be used for a long time (as opposed to just infancy). Alicia was so helpful in picking out the right and most essential pieces to create a beautiful nursery but also stay within my budget. She was really proactive about sharing ideas and potential layouts, and provided detailed information on why she picked certain pieces (she was so knowledgeable on safety standards, etc which was really important for a nursery!). “In 2011, I bought a new construction condo. With the exception of the stove/oven, dishwasher, and water heater, there were no other appliances or furniture. I travel often and never have 4-6 weeks in a row at home - the usual time frame for ordering/receiving furniture. Paula Ables Interiors had done the models for the condo sales office and I love her style. I contacted her, agreed to a budget, and gave her the key. Over a period of a couple of months - this was my time frame - she and her staff did everything from furniture and appliances to hanging (my) art on the walls and painting. At the end, I came home from a long trip and went to my new place for the first time. I was amazed. Everything was in place and looked fantastic. I couldn't be happier and haven't stopped recommending her to my family and friends. The most amazing thing is she actually listens to you, understands you personal style and preferences, and works her magic to produce a wonderful, practical, and liveable home.
