“I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. I appointed Dani Louis, to initially get ideas on colour schemes, light fittings, kitchen and bathroom layouts etc. Dani, was extremely helpful and full of great ideas. The house has kept some of its original features ie VJ walls etc, but now blends in nicely, mixing old world with new. Dani has tremendous buying power and sources great deals on fittings, fixtures etc and passes on her savings for all items as part of her service, which was amazing because the savings added up to be a lot more than the fee she charged. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Dani Louis Design to anybody wanting to undertake any form of renovation or design consultation. “Jo provided a full interior design specification for the refurbishment of lift foyers for 21 levels and 12 Villas in a Residential Tower Complex at Kangaroo Point Brisbane. The design included all floor wall and ceiling colour charts, wallpaper, new carpet design for the floors and lift cars and mirrors and prints for the walls of each floor foyer, and new door furniture for all Apartment doors. Jo then managed the actual work including coordinating tradesmen, checking colours, carpet laying, and delivery and hanging of mirrors and prints.”

The time and attention you provided us with resulted in our daybed being loved and used by our whole family. The quality and choice of fabrics you provide enabled me to get exactly the piece of furniture I was hoping to complement our front deck. “Estelle designed, supplied and installed bespoke cabinetry for our master bedroom. She provided three concepts based on our brief, all of which were lovely and matched our aesthetic. However one stood out. The cabinets replaced some "temporary" Ikea drawers we purchased when we moved in. They look fabulous and have transformed the room (along with the custom curtains we sourced through Estelle just before Christmas). We have a few more items to go to finish the room, as we are doing it slowly as funds allow. It is the first time i have used an interior designer and i have been extremely happy. Estelle is always delightful to work with.”

“we worked with Suzie on our holiday house in the Whitsundays so we were looking forward to working with her again on our new home. This was a complete renovation, floors to ceiling. Suzie worked closely with the architect and builder to ensure our style and required structural changes were our vision and what our family needed. Our home has a beautiful flow now, gone are the harsh 80s angles, endless pillars and bulkheads. We wanted our home to be welcoming and comfortable but also have all the amenities and technology to live our life. Some things we had definite ideas and others we knew what we wanted but not how to achieve it, Suzie would brainstorm with us and either know the solution through experience or come up with workable options. I adore every room and piece of furniture. We have a 5 star finish on our home and I credit Suzie's enthusiasm, professionalism and her incredible skills and experience.”
