“Kirsty and Elke were really great to work with. They listened to what I wanted and stuck to my budget. I loved the way they came up with creative ideas I wouldn't have thought of and it all really worked. The end result was so much better than I was expecting. I love my living room now. Everyone admires it and I just find it so calm to sit in and read a book. I never thought I was someone who would hire a professional designer, but I just couldn't make up my mind about colours and curtains and now I'm a complete convert. In fact, I'm thinking of hiring them to do the rest of the house!”

Alex helped us pick an accent colour of teal and as well as recommending new items she also advised on up scaling our original furniture with chalk paints and fabrics. “Having been used to furnishing period properties, I suspected I would be in trouble when I purchased a large, square-roomed flat with no intrinsic features to guide me. Fortunately I found Lisa who, over a period of several months, has delivered a home that is both stylish and comfortable. She is very professional and needed to be extremely patient, since I knew what I didn’t want rather than what I did. After an initial meeting on site she produced mood-boards that were subsequently added to and subtracted from. Having sourced pieces that she felt would work Lisa accompanied me on two days of pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, her presence being invaluable in keeping me focused. She ordered items once decided upon and arranged for their delivery, which sometimes required time-consuming input on her part since I am absent from the UK for periods of time. Lisa has great ideas, is a delight to work with and really cares about what she does. In short, I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, talented and pro-active interior designer.”

“Many thanks to Annie , whose knowledge and vision helped us enormously with the design for our extension. She understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. We found it very difficult to visualise the final layout, but Annie’s ideas were excellent, and her skill in a visualisation so we could actually ‘see’ the final outcome, provided us with exactly what we needed. It gave us a focus and an idea of where we were going. Planning an extension and modifying an existing layout is not for everyone; it is very easy to get it wrong, and end up having to modify a poor start! I would recommend Annie without hesitation to anyone thinking about any sort of interior design or architectural or structural changes to their house. Thank you so much Annie!”

“I had moved into my new home, and the interior decor was neutral - but bland. I was, frankly, at a loss as to how to begin to make it work for me. Kay visited, listened to how I need my home to function, talked me through the possibilities and created several mood boards to enable me to visualise how it could look. She even sent me links to the products I needed, taking the angst out of shopping for the right items. My lovely new home now feels like my space - thanks so much, Kay, for working your magic and taking the fear out of introducing pattern, colour and texture.”

“From start to finish, Chloe was amazing to work with! I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and understood the vision (even though I wasn’t even sure what I wanted). Chloe sent through lists and links to items to furnish the space and worked to strict budget. I was surprised how far she was able to make it stretch and how good value for money everything was. I kind of assumed that recommendations would be costly but that wasn’t the case at all! Also, Chloe is so lovely and easy to talk to too which made the whole process even nicer. I can’t recommend working with her enough and will definitely get her help on the next room we do!”

“I have been using Baxter Creative for around 20 years. I've tried many designers over the years but they simply do not compare. Baxter creative are now our exclusive design partner and have done many houses for us. These houses range from small interior updates to whole house builds, nothing was too big or too small. Baxter creative has also exclusively designed all of my company offices across Australia, New Zealand and the Uk. Charles has an exceptional eye and unbelievable taste.”

“As an overseas client looking to renovate our period property in Bath from a distance, PiD were invaluable in helping us achieve the home we have always dreamt of. Barbara acted as our eyes and ears on the ground, bringing a ready made team of skilled and reliable tradespeople to the table saving us the headache of trying to source them ourselves. The work carried out included replacing the roof, installing new wiring, upgrading the plumbing, designing and fitting a new master bathroom and kitchen, and converting the cellars into liveable space, along with complete redecoration - everything from paint colours to carpets and curtains. PiD also carried out a refurbishment of our two bedroom cottage, adjacent to the house - which again included a new bathroom and kitchen and complete redecoration. We are absolutely delighted with the end results, which is due in no small part to Barbara's ability to meet and indeed exceed the expectations of a sometimes highly demanding client!”

“We at blue bee, commissioned Living the Interior to re-style our office, it was your standard magnolia-painted office space and lacked character. Since we are a creative agency we wanted a space that would inspire the team working there and impress clients on their visits to the office. Both Kat and Vickie were highly professional on their visits, quick with their responses whenever we had any questions and came up with a scheme for the office that has transformed the place we work. We couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!”
