“We had to do a complete overhaul of our home. Because of health issues, we were confined to only using non toxic materials. Sounds simple...au contraire. It requires major research for all materials including paints, flooring stains, fabrics, furniture, etc. And, it is very distressing how limited it is out there for non-toxic material. So, creating a non-toxic environment that is safe and GORGEOUS is a very tough fete. And, all the while, Orrick and Company, Alicia, Myles, Lish, Mary, Beatrice, and Devney have made this, what could have been a stressful experience a delight. While we are not yet installed (hence no pictures below), I will be happy to supply when we are completed next month. Orrick and Company should win hands down! Amazing company!”

“Dominique is a great professional to work with. We hired her to remodel and decorate our living room and dining room. She worked on the design of the rooms by selecting trim accents, lighting and paint color. She supervised the installation and all work needed. To redecorate she incorporated furniture we had in our home and added some new accent pieces. Wall paintings and decor was also added. Dominique has a wonderful artistic eye for layout and design. We are so happy with her work that we hired her on to work wonders in our library and family great room. Thank you Dominique, we love our new gorgeous designed rooms”

“Janet is amazing. She makes you feel like you are her only client. She has amazing taste but is very respectful of your budget. I have worked with Janet for 9 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. She really takes you out of your comfort zone. I went from a very traditional style to a modern/classic style that will take us far into the future as for a stylish house. I love my house!”

“We worked with Hartley & Hill Design to completely renovate and redesign our kitchen last summer. They were fantastic and we cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. We met with them and described the concepts that we wanted (functional and classic, keeping in mind that we like to entertain, but we have small children and a busy family life). They put together the design and sat down with us to explain their ideas very thoroughly and also run through the budget. They came up with a fantastic design that we never would have thought possible, incorporating very creative ideas, while still keeping in mind our budget as well as our personal preferences. It was a very collaborative process, with us being as involved as we wanted to be, but not feeling like we had to manage a project; they expertly managed the project for us! All of the subcontractors they hired were first class. The renovation was very well organized, there was consistent open communication, any hiccups along the way (as will happen in any project this size) were managed smoothly and effectively. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the end result. We can't wait to use them again soon to redesign our dining room/living room area. We would highly recommend them!”

“Jonathan took the vision I had for our living room and made it a reality. He shared his tips and introduced us to local antique shops and professionals. Old furniture touched up and reupholstered along with unique touches, like Moroccan window screens as valances, make the room feel personal and inviting. I would work with Jonathan again and recommend him in a heartbeat.”

“I strongly endorse Tara Benet for any residential or commercial project. I have worked with Tara over the past 5 years. She has designed and decorated my homes in New York and Florida, and my law offices in New York and Florida as well. Tara is extraordinarily talented. As you may know she is an artist who brings all of her incredible abilities to the decorative world. She creates a unique living and working space that brings much happiness and enjoyment. More than anything else, Tara creates livable and workable space that exudes positive energy. It is a special joy to work with her. I also want to emphasize that Tara's approach is iterative and collaborative. I never felt that she was trying to dictate design or creative ideas. Rather she listens and works with clients to find out what we want. I think this is a very unique and special style. Tara takes the time to talk to and understand client needs. She is also very careful to work within reasonable and realistic budgets. At the end of the process, I have always felt a special connection to the places I live and work in because I was brought into the creative process. “I contacted 6-7 designers about doing an individual office. No one responded, as it seems everyone was much more interested in doing large scale projects. But I was lucky to come across Nicky and I have an amazing decorated office that is like home. Process was very turnkey, which was important to me as busy finance guy who can't visualize design. Nicky was happy to meet me on weekends and after-hours. He provided options but made it easy for a non-creative type to decide. He then quarterbacked the entire process, from delivery/installation of furniture to wall decorations to books on shelves. I spent very little time on the process but now get to enjoy an incredibly put together office that everyone compliments. Nicky is extremely professional, passionate in his craft, and hungry to excel. I would 100% hire Nicky again.”
