“GEC Anderson were the quickest and most helpful company to respond to our rough diagram of 2 right angled stainless steel work surfaces of 3 plus metres x 2.5 metres, one with a cantilevered overhang for a breakfast bar.
We were not sure if they would take on such a small project as ours, We looked at their website and whilst it is obvious the products and workmanship are outstanding, this firm deals with commercial enterprises and completes award winning contracts. However from our first enquiry Martin Tye treated us with courtesy and enthusiasm for our project.

“Granite House installed our new kitchen counter tops implementing a quality of workmanship rarely found these days. We had renovated our kitchens before but never found such professionalism lodged in with team coordination. Installer Simon spent the better part of a morning with me measuring surfaces, shooting a complex video, and listening to my request for an engineered solution to a tricky window drop and its outside rendering. Simon’s knowledge of the template, and his patience explaining it to me, were greatly appreciated. Several times I belaboured the question whether Granite House installers would be able to understand these complicated instructions. Simon assured me they would - indeed they did. On the day they arrived on the button and implemented everything in those instructions. The Granite House team also coordinated the other involved tradesmen to orchestrate the installation on time. And when one facet of the kitchen sink was not quite right, their plumber Alex was here within a day. The overall perfection of their workmanship was first class. I would not hesitate to award them top marks and contract with them again in the future. Lynne Ottway was the lynchpin at their Bicester headquarters and understood my requests from day one. “We were looking for a real stone floor, that was a both a bit different and affordable for our kitchen. The mountain green slate from Natural stone consulting, ticked both those boxes. The quality of the slate was very good, none of the tiles have disfiguring lines of other rock formations through them. They lead us through the choices of what size stone would look best for our project, what spacing to use, even what grout and adhesive was best for our floor. We are very happy with the result, and it works perfectly with our underfloor heating. We liked the flooring so much, we use the few spare tiles we had to do the bathroom floor.”
