“I am a tile setter by trade and have dealt with many tile stores over the years. I will continue sending my clients to Tilemaster for many reasons. They are a very reputable company that treats all customers with respect and answers all their questions. They almost always have everything needed for the job, even when it's a last minute project which helps a lot. And if they don't have it, they will always get it.
The prices are, in my opinion, are about as fair as they can be. While they may not be the "cheapest" they are the best bang for buck in my books, good quality products for a fair price. Their mortars, metal profiles and especially their grouts are definitely the highlight of Tilemaster. The mortar is the best I've ever used, their tile edging/transition racks are always stocked. Most importantly is the quality of the grout. Kiesel makes the best grout on the market, one that I will always use and recommend.

“Northern Granite Works completed the counter tops in our new Muskoka home. From our very first dealings with them, we were impressed. Trish in the office and Greg, couldn't have been more helpful from start (selecting our slabs) to finish (our beautiful granite counter tops in kitchen, powder room and en-suite). In addition, they completed Ceasarstone quartz counter tops in two guest bathrooms. Greg suggested mitred edges (many other companies stack their edges) and the end result is flawless. We are so thrilled with our counter-tops and their expert installation that we are currently working with them on a bar project on the lower level of our new home. And the icing on the cake? Not only do they provide wonderful service, they are exceptionally nice people as well.”

“Recently, I commissioned Chaulk Woodworking for a custom kitchen for my design studio in Haliburton Village.
The kitchen is unique and offers metal mesh inlaid uppers with specialized detail in the custom island. Through my project I dealt with Trevor (the owner), Ian (director of sales), Lyle (project manager), John (countertop specialist), and the installers Mark and Justin. Every single person on this team was professional, likeable and it was clear that all of them take pride in delivering a quality customer service experience and an impeccable final product.
As a designer, I had very specific criteria when choosing whom I would work with to showcase my work. Chaulk was the right company and they delivered the product I designed and wanted. I am so happy with my whole experience from the final product to every important business pieces that makes a relationship. You can get not only tile but a recommendation on what is done and what is not, how to match different tiles, what is required in maintenance, etc.”
Regal Granite

“We contracted Regal Granite to install a quartz countertop back in December during one of their sales. We informed them that were still waiting upon the lower cabinets in our kitchen renovation and we wouldn’t be able to install for about 6 weeks. They were fine with our timeline and informed us they had no problem with the delay. We contacted Regal once the cabinets were ready and Paul came out that night for the template. The install was completed a little less than 3 weeks later by Paul and an associate (sorry forgot his name but a nice guy). They were both great and friendly although I felt sorry for them lifting those large pieces of stone up the stairs. They laid carpet through the hallway to protect the floors and began the install. They did their best to make everything square and as close to the walls as possible. Unfortunately people who build houses today don’t believe in square anymore so I don’t envy their job of trying to fit a square peg into an un-square hole. At one point during the install I noticed that one side of the stove was a little off center. Paul said it wasn’t a problem and proceeded to cut the stone on site to make it fit. Later he noticed that one of the measurements was off a little so they reloaded the stone into the truck and took it back to the shop to make sure the cut was done cleanly on their shop saw. They were back within the hour and completed the install. Overall the experience was very good with Paul addressing my concerns and rectifying anything that was not quite right. I also had no issue dealing with the staff at the store, Shannon and Erica, who for me were very friendly and helpful. I see some bad reviews about Regal but as everyone knows, people rarely write in when things go well, they only comment if they have complaints. Thanks Regal for a great job.”
