From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. We get so many compliments, I think we may have the design others want to copy.”

“Highest Commendations for Tangerine Design. Jill creates functional, aesthetic & budget conscious designs to fit any need. We own apartments and use her ideas to attract higher end clients. Our meetings begin with a walk-through and ideas emerge from the ensuing conversation. Her architectural background results in "functional" layout recommendations that optimize space and flow. An Aesthetic "top-coat" follows--- keeping in mind the design style of the client, layout and budget. Jill can "Manage" or recommend contractors to bring the projects completion. This is an added bonus as many people don't have the time or knowledge to realize their conception. “Tracy was wonderful with our remodel. When we first started we were overwhelmed by the various styles, colors, brands, etc and didn't know where to start. Tracy was very patient and spent a good amount of time trying to understand our needs and wants for our new remodel. Tracy was recommended to us originally for kitchen cabinets but not only did she do a wonderful job at helping us design our kitchen, she became a great one stop shopping source taking all the brands and styles we wanted and helping us order everything for the kitchen, bath, tile and even window coverings. Tracy is very detail oriented and followed through with each part of the project install after purchase. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great remodeling experience.”

“Nadja was able to walk into our kitchen and dining room and immediately come up with great ideas for re-doing the entire space. She explained her process thoroughly, which was helpful for us novices, and she was always easy to talk with through out the entire process. We wanted a more "transitional" style than her usual modern style, and she was able to help us with design elements that worked for us. We loved that Nadja will share her opinions with you - we wanted her expertise, but she is flexible enough to work around any specific elements you really love. We hope to work with Nadja again on additional projects, and we highly recommend her.”

“Sophia came in full of energy and ready to help us with our room expansion project. We thought we just needed her for finishing selections. However she immediately asked the right questions and completely changed our lighting plan. This certainly will transform the entire room. Moving into finishes, Sophia took our preferences and selected a simply wonderful color scheme. She also helped devise a plan to utilize an existing rug by adding a border, saving thousands of dollars over buying a new one. While Sophia certainly can help you select top of the line, she also has the philosophy of using what you have and working it into the design. Highly recommended to help you get the most out of your project.”

“My husband and I initially hired Gita Jacobson from “in the details” for complete renovations of the kitchen Gita is a great communicator, listens to client’s needs, is responsive and manages projects with great efficiency. She is extremely creative and was an absolute joy to work with her. Gita’s guidance brought a new ideas to my color/materials preferences and gave me confidence to break out of the expected. Her creative solutions turned problems into unique finishing touches: for example, using two different type of tiles for back-splash and chasing the correct counter top. During the renovation, she came by the house when we needed her advice and she was on time we met to look at materials off site. Gita was professional but also a source of creative details of our kitchen.”

“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”
