“We hired Kelly Zamonski of The Kitchen Place to completely gut our kitchen in our 90 year old house. We wanted to keep the new design vintage, with the character of the old house. We worked on the layout and design ahead of time, with Kelly spending a great deal of time researching our many choice combinations. She had many original ideas that we loved and understood the look that we wanted. She was very patient with our many questions, making us feel comforted every step of the way. She gave us the details that she knew we needed, knowing that we were detail-oriented customers. She gave design advice for the function, as well as the aesthetics. We truly got our vintage, original-looking kitchen. It has very high-quality materials, craftsmanship, and design. We decided to use her sub-contractors, since they have worked togethers for many years and work well as a team. John made suggestions on what tile to use for the walls and floor along with accent tile for the border. In the end, we only made one color change from what he had initially recommended which made the sometimes daunting task of color and pattern selection very easy. We have received numerous compliments on the stunning transformation of our master bath. The only thing holding me back from a 5-star review is the tiny details. We had a few issues with caulk and grout lines not being complete or straight, but John came back out each time requested and completed the work to our satisfaction.
